A very good buy !
Currently I am using only the battery-controlled bell, which is loud and clear and audible throughout the house and back garden. No screws were provided for installing the bell-push, only a tape - but I used the screws from my old bell ( the holes were in the correct position ) and it was installed in minutes.

well priced wireless door bell
Bought this to replace a Friedland wireless doorbell whose push had stopped working. Cheaper than the replacement Friedland/Honeywell door push and also available in black rather than just white. Easy to install and set up. The option of a mobile battery powered chime unit has proved useful for when in the garden. Notas elegant as the original Friedland but does the job. Recommended.

One of the biggest advantages for me is the second receiver, which I can take into the garden, meaning I never miss a visitor even when I'm outside. The Byron DBY-22354BS wireless doorbell kit requires 1 CR2032 button cell for the bell push and 3 AA batteries for the portable chime; placement is straightforward, ensuring correct polarity.
Bell Push Button Battery Installation
Remove the cap: Locate the small recess at the bottom of the door push. Use a screwdriver to carefully press the catch and lift off the cap
Insert the battery: Place the supplied CR2032 button cell inside the battery holder with the plus (+) side facing up
Replace the cap: Once the battery is in position, snap the cap securely back onto the mounting plate

It uses a CR2032 battery. The life of the battery would depend on the usage and other factors, e.g. brand, quality, etc. so we cannot give a timescale on the lifespan as such.

I bought this and it worked great until I dared to move the plugin speaker the other speaker just uses batteries, now the plugin speaker doesnt work. Probably why its cheap.
