Purchased to replace my previous flymo blower/vac which lasted over 20 years Only used this one twice so far to vac up leaves I am pleased with the strong suction this model has but I think it may be a bit of a hastle to remove suction section and assemble with different part to use the blower. My last model just required to use a different setting on the the switch

This does everything it says it does and it does it so well. When it sucks it also shreads which saves loads of room in the garden bin and when it blows it has loads of power as the title says its awesome better than I thought it would be 10/10.

Works very well, but let down by cheap materials
I have used this solely as a leaf vacuum over the past month. It works very well. You need to keep the entire nozzle close to the ground (so the device vertical), but once you do so, it collects leaves very well. I give only 3 stars because the collection bag is made from very thin material. It showed signs of stretching around the join between it and the extruder after 2 uses. There is a ‘skirt’ inside the bag that is designed to protect against this, so maybe I had not set that up properly. Anyway, I ordered some iron patches from eBay and stuck them inside the bag to reinforce it, which has solved the problem. So, good vacuum, but the bag is likely to fail.

This Flymo advises it features a mulch/shred action that will compress the leaves and debris. Therefore leafy small offcuts should be fine. Thicker branches would not.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Flymo PowerVac Corded Leaf Blower and Garden Vac - 3000W: I can confirm that the machine has a setting for different speeds as long as the customer is using it on a lower speed and the leaves are dry there should be no issue and should not move the slate chippings either.
