I bought this for my husband as he is partially sighted and he’s thrilled, besides having large numbers and a lovely clear face if you press the winder it lights the face up so he can still see it in the dark.

Good clear figures
We bought this item because it had large numbers but not small dials and features which we didn't want. We haven't worked out how to adjust the date of the month, which was wrong, but we don't need or want that feature a lot, anyway.

I love this watch. I'd been looking for a ladies backlit watch for a few years since mine broke, when I finally stumbled on the fact I could buy a man's watch instead. This is such a beautifually clear face and of a size that I can read the date as well (something I could never do on my old watch). I wish I'd thought to buy a man's watch sooner. My only slight grumble is that it's tricky to use the little side knob to amend the date at the end of the month and I'm not keen on the chunky strap, so I shall look to replace that with something more to my taste. Otherwise this is perfect for me

The supplier has advised the Timex Men's Black Leather Strap Watch hands and hour markers are not luminous – it is just the dial that lights up.

I bought mine some years ago. The battery lasted for years - when it eventually failed I replaced it. That was in 2020 and its still going.
