Compatible with petrol vehicles from 1996 and diesel vehicles from 2004. Both of which need to be OBD II compliant (including CAN).
This tool can determine the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) and review the emission readiness status of OBD monitors.
No batteries are required and you can store the tool in your vehicle when needed. This tool will not diagnose airbag or braking system issues.

The supplier has advised the following for the Streetwize OBDII Vehicle Fault Code Reader:
"SWOBD (6876166) can read and cancel engine and warning lights on a jeep cherokee 2015. About the engine warning lights, if it is an temporary fault, it can be cleared by using SWOBD. However, if the fault due to the hardware, it must be repaired first. If not, even if the fault code is cleared, the fault will reappear and the warning light will show again"
