Had to return this as it is poorly made, the dowels didn't fit, to loose and when you tightened the screws to bring the unit together the wood split.

Smart hall furniture
I bought this 2 months ago, lovely sturdy and smart piece of furniture. Fits the hall space well and is great for our family shoes, drawer at top an added bonus used for keys and charging phones. So easy to buy from Argos fantastic delivery all at a very competitive price. Always look first at Argos for any items we buy now.

I had to return this item because I screwed it together and it fell apart before Nicole complete it. The drilled holes are too large for the pegs. To secure the joints.

Screws do not thread into worms and fall out
Received and attempted to build as soon as it arrived, the screws which threat into the worms wobble and fall out. Soon as you try and twist the worms they rip the screws out, therefore it will not go together

It’s a little cheap and nasty with the components that hold it together. Once it is built it does look better than you think it will. Does the job perfectly well. I was lucky I had various vouchers that reduced the price to £45.00. Just as well as I genuinely think it’s only just about worth that.
