About this product
The Jay-Be Hideaway Folding Bed gives you a proper single bed for guests without losing floor space. It folds into a compact unit that stores in cupboards, behind doors, or under stairs when not in use. The patented folding mechanism provides more sleeping area relative to its folded size than other folding beds, so guests get a full-sized single bed without a bulky frame. A breathable e-Fibre mattress with medium support provides comfortable sleep. Castors rotate fully for easy movement, and J-Grip legs keep it stable once set up.
The galvanised steel frame stands up to repeated folding and unfolding, while plastic feet on all legs protect your floors from scratches. The Mono-Tex platform base supports the mattress evenly across its surface. It holds up to 160kg, so it accommodates most adults safely. When folded, it's narrow enough to tuck away in tight storage spots. Made in the UK to meet international safety and quality standards. Minimal assembly required, one person can manage it. There's a lifetime guarantee on the frame and a year on the mattress.

Stable and Comfortable bed
Bought this for people staying overnight. I was looking for something comfortable, easy to set up and easy to move to store. This has hit all requirements. People who have used the bed have said that they have slept well, the bed has been stable, the mattress comfortable and is a reasonable height from the floor considering it’s a fold away bed. This model isn’t the cheapest but it was worth paying a little extra for the quality.

Very comfortable the mattress may seem not that thick but it's soft and against the fabric support even more so. Easy to put together and take down after use. Has castor wheels for moving about when putting away. Pleased I went for the more expensive one an our guest was happy to use for the week. Would be nice if it came with a breathable storage bag for this price but that's sold separate.

Easy to store spare bed.
When the box was opened the mattress cover was ripped in two places. As this item was too bulky to return I purchased a mattress cover from Jay-Be at extra cost to me. The cover did what was necessary to protect the mattress from further damage. The bed was slept on by our guest and was comfortable for a two night stay.

Unfortunately, we do not manufacture sheets for the folding beds. We would advise to use a flat unfitted sheet with these products.
We manufacture a mattress protector for the folding beds. If you look on our Jay-Be website, you will be able to see the sheet suitable for each folding bed.

The e-Fibre mattress is made up of smart polyester fibres which are bonded together to offer varying softness’s and support like foam but unlike foam, e-Fibre is free from Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's), odourless and hypoallergenic.
