avoid avoid avoid!!
Husband purchased this for my birthday at the end of January as I had wanted one for sometime and we love shark products overall. When I first got the product, on initial review i absolutely loved it. I have been using this item for 5 weeks and I cannot even begin to tell you the damage it has done to my normal healthy hair. For background, I have normal hair, non damaged hair that dries very quickly. Once my hair is 80% dry, I usually use the shark glossi tool. I section my hair into 4 sections, use it on the lowest heat wet setting and do about 2-3 passes to ensure it's smooth and dry. After using this items for approx 4-5 weeks my usual shiny healthy hair is absolutely literally with friz and split ends. It genuinely looks like I've taken a red hot straightener to it everyday. This isn't good enough shark. You claim heat control with no damage, yet I've used to lowest setting and my hair is singed and damaged. It's taken me years to get my hair to this point and had been ruined in the matter of a month due to this product. So so disappointed and want to return this ASAP. It's genuinely isn't fit for purpose

Amazing affordable alternative!
I love this tool- well worth a purchase! I’ll be honest, it does take a little bit of time to get used to at first, but once you’ve got the hang of it, the results just keep getting better and better every time you use it. I have fine, straight hair, and I’ve found it works best if you set the curls with pin curls or rollers and use a mousse after washing on wet hair and a light hairspray after, but that’s pretty much the case with any styling tool on my hair type. It’s literally the only tool that actually makes my curls last- I usually for more of a bouncy blow out than curly look so volume is a MUST for me with a hot tool. What I really love is the volume it gives at the roots; my hair feels bouncy and full rather than flat. I originally bought the Shark as a more affordable alternative to the Dyson as I didn’t want to commit £600+ and not ‘enjoy’ an air tool, but honestly, it’s so good that I think I’ll be sticking with the Shark. Brilliant results, great volume, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Best for longer hair in general
Good for straightening not so much curling . I have fine hair just above shoulder length & it does not hold a curl well. Hoped this would be different. It’s not. Fine for my daughters long thicker hair. Straightening tool works very well. As a hairdryer nice & light. Didn’t realise can’t be used abroad which is a big downside .

Waste of money The brush does not give volume The curl barrels only hold for 5min no matter how much hair spray you use the only good thing is the straightening attachment but is not worth the money just for that so I will return for refund

Heavy and Awkward
The barrel itself is chunky. I have small hands and it's difficult to hold. It's also quite heavy. That said it does the job and leaves your hair feeling great & completely dry. It should come with a heat protection glove as the detachable parts get very hot after use and when you want to swap them out you can't with your bare hand
