Our Aspley trundle day bed in solid wood is designed to act like a sofa by day and a bedframe by night. With an extra pull-out bed beneath, you can be sleepover-ready in seconds. Plus, it's easy to raise the spare to the height of the day bed too for a double or twin arrangement. Smart and attractive, that's Aspley. Comes with 2 mattresses included.

Aspley trundle bed
Ordered this bed as a space saving idea.but was very disappointed to find a part missing and when I contacted argos they said they could deliver it in 2 weeks.then I found out they are delivering a whole new bed which I have to unpack to find the part im missing which will be stressful

Purchased and assembled 7 days ago. We were really happy with instructions and very precise packing. Took 5 man hours but no one got hurt!! Very comfortable. Fell asleep immediately.

Really happy with the bed, it is a stylish addition to our sore room. Fairly easy to construct although it would be good if the slats were joined by a ribbon and also if the majority of the bolts were on the inside of the game to ease the construction.

Bought this for my spare room and got grandchildren's sleepovers. Looks good when single allowing space for play in the room and good when pulled out for 2 singles. Took us a while to sort out all the pieces and identify the letters on the screws. Once sorted we put together with relative ease. Top bed permanently made up, with both quilts and pillows on top. Children love it but don't let them bounce on it. Comfortable for the odd visitor. Very pleased with my purchase for the price.

Now up and finished, they look quite stylish and the main bed looks huge!! It’s a tricky build and is definitely a two person job! The painted finish is quite basic and marks quite easily, I’ll probably end up painting it myself at some point. For part of the build you have to screw every slat down individually, you need a power screwdriver for this part otherwise you’ll be there forever! But you can’t screw it all the way in as the space between the end of the slat and side of bed isn’t wide enough, so unless you have an extra long extender for your screwdriver, you’ll need to do the last bit it up by hand. When you push the trundle under the main bed it’s a tight fit with the mattress and the casters on the trundle aren’t the best and it’s not quite a flush fit without moving it around a bit; the front side board could do with being about an inch or so longer for a better finish. The chain and pin to keep the trundle legs in place while you’re using it are a bit fiddly, I’m going to try and figure out a better set up for them. I bought the mattresses with the beds, they are a bit basic, you can only use them one way up, but they’re supportive and comfy enough. They definitely need at least 72 hours to shape up properly and to air them out, there’s a bit of a plastic smell, probably from the shrink wrap packaging. These beds are pretty okay for the price that you’re paying for them, £460, and are ideal for the use they will get in my house; they were bought for my grandchildren to use when staying. They loved the new beds and said both the main bed and trundle were comfortable to sleep on. I would recommend them and have given them 4 stars for the quality against what you are paying for them, but if you’re excepting top quality, you need to spend a bit more money.

Having looked into this. The bed and trundle can be used a 2 separate beds. The Aspley Single Under Bed Wooden Drawer, would fit under the bed, when the trundle is removed.
