High quality affordable storage
Having previously bought Western Digital portable hard drives I was not disappointed with this device. USB3.2 compatibility means it transfers data 4 times faster than my older device with twice the capacity. Robust solid feel to it. Very pleased with it so far.

Hello Blue,
From the information we have available, I can advise you can use the Western Digital My Passport 2TB Portable Hard Drive with your iPad 6th gen, but there are a few considerations:
Power Requirements: The iPad does not provide enough power to run the My Passport drive directly. You will need a powered USB hub or the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, which allows you to connect a power source to the drive.
File System Compatibility: Ensure the drive is formatted in a compatible file system such as FAT32, exFAT, or APFS. Other file systems may not be recognized by the iPad.
Adapter: You will need the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter to connect the drive to your iPad.
