The acctim fossen is a neat looking clock and has proved to be reliable so far. Although it didn't say in the instructions the light button is also the snooze button. Very happy with this clock

Bought as a replacement of our 18 year old digital alarm clock which lost the ability to display LCD! This one doesn't tick which is nice if bothered by that noise at night, though it's bound to be quiet as it doesn't have a second hand going round!
Nice colour, not garish, large number and a soft night light by the push of a button, decent alarm volume that increased if you don't snoose it using the button to illuminate the clock face. 2 controls on the back, 1 for the time and one for the alarm - simplicity at its best.
Only slight downside so far is the alarm hand should be twice the length so that it's easier to set the time - bit of a trial and error at the moment 10 mins either way until you can minutely nudge to the correct alarm time.

Found this on Tesco's site after unsuccessful internet search found only very small versions.
This Alarm is proper size and looks good
Works perfectly, is easy to set and l like the way alarm increases in volume if you don't react to it.

I can advise the following for the 6824912
Acctim Fossen Analogue Alarm Clock - Sage
There is an on off switch at the back of the clock which allows you to turn the alarm off
The supplier has advised the following for the Acctim Fossen Analogue Alarm Clock - Sage:
“ The Acctim Fossen alarm clock features a ‘non-ticking’ sweep movement. - A slight whirring sound may still be audible as the seconds hand sweeps round the dial. ”
The 2 clocks I received the legs were chrome instead of gold which was different to what is advertised and the arms were dark grey instead of the green in photos on the website.
I do not know if its silent as I returned the clock as it was not the colour as described and shown on the website.
Does a non-ticking sweep seconds hand mean the clock is silent?
