If I could return it, I would.. but I already opened it and used it so I’m guessing I can’t? Perhaps I’m just used to sturdy ironing boards. I wanted something smaller than a regular ironing board to keep in an under-stairs cupboard. Unfortunately, it’s not sturdy and it almost fell over and took my iron with it! Fortunately I managed to catch my iron before it hit the ground. The iron holder is also very unstable and the rubber seemed to leave a small black mark on my iron. 2 stars because it’s the right size, cute and is an ok height. Wouldn’t recommend..

Price was competitive to initiate the purchase. Lightweight, compact enougth for any ironing board, it's a compromise for stability you need heavy which makes it awkward to fold and store. I'm not asked to fetcg, open, close and put back by my laundry maid ever time a crease needs ironing out. Which gives more time to soften my tired creases with a beer.

I struggle with arthritis and muscle loss, my old ironing board was just to big and heavy for me to unfold and put into position, an accident waiting to happen. Then this compact and light ironing board was purchased, it is easy to move about and set up and big enough to be practical. The mesh ironing surface measures 97 cm in length.
The iron rest is 20 cm long.
There is an approximate 1 cm gap between the ironing surface and the iron rest.
When fully extended, the total length is approximately 118 cm (97 cm + 20 cm + 1 cm).
