Good affordable prime lens
Already had an older nifty fifty but the autofocus became unreliable. This lens focuses faster and quieter. I just wish the filter ring had not been reduced from 52 mm to 49mm which necessitates buying new filters. Overall pleased with the quality.

A great Lens
One of the great lenses, the classic 50mm, it’s brilliant that Argos still sell these, as it has saved me a lot of time when I’ve needed it for filming and photography. I purchased it a few weeks ago, from Argos, for some video work, and it worked brilliantly. Argos customer service also is brilliant.
