Bought for my son has more than enough GB for his use. Considering the initial cheap price am very pleased with this item. Setting up was so simple, would highly recommend this item if not needing huge GB.

Served a purpose
Difficult to configure and set up Instructions were rubbish but what was unusable was trying to work out how much data was left or as it turned out , identify that the data had all been used and then it was utterly impossible to identify how to top up the existing sim which is partly a Vodafone issue as it’s there connection but the item should come with better instructions for this purpose

Great item to stay connected when away from home
I brought this for a friend who was stay at her old parents house no internet! Did not want to use her phone mobile data has wanted a handle on costs. This is box and prepaid sim was ideal for this situation.

Poor
Bought this as my mum had no Wi-Fi to connect to a camera as she is elderly. Could not pair them up as the password supplied was incorrect. Tried to reset the password as instructed but due to poor instructions I was unable to change it. As I had already put the SIM card in I was unable to return the product. Total waste of money and time spent trying to resolve. I don’t think Argos will post my review.

Works well
Very pleased with this little device. I bought it because I stay occasionally with a relative who doesn't have broadband, but I need to retain the ability to login to work using my laptop. It gives me the equivalent of a wired connection. I believe it can also be set up as a wif-fi hub, although I've not tried that yet.

Secure network but expensive data
My work requires a secure network, so using public Wi-Fi isn’t an option. This product delivered exactly as promised. However, I noticed the 30GB allowance disappeared quickly—within just five days of fairly light use. I don’t want to commit to a year-long Vodafone contract, but I’ve read that SIMs operating on the Vodafone network are compatible. With that in mind, I plan to try VOXI, as it’s more affordable and offers the flexibility to cancel anytime.

Easy to use
Bought this to cover me until my broadband was installed in my new house. I ran out of data before my internet was installed so tried to add more data through Vodafone but was unable to do so. The device itself is good but the SIM card I got made it impossible to add more data, I had to buy a new sim from elsewhere. Does the job.

Register for My Vodafone:
Go to the My Vodafone registration page: My Vodafone Registration.
Click on ‘Register for My Vodafone’.
Select 'I have a mobile or landline number'.
Enter your mobile number associated with your Vodafone account.
A one-time security code will be sent to your mobile via text message. Enter this code to verify your identity.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process. During registration, you may choose between an Individual/Consumer or Business account, depending on your needs.
You would then be able to either use the My Vodafone App or the website to check on the data used.

This will work overseas so long as the SIM does. The hotspot only transmits the signal, so you would need to ensure that the SIM you use inside it has international roaming. Roaming is a Vodafone perk you can purchase at any time directly from them.
