Got this after buying ps5 pro as is only digital . Drive comes well packaged . Easy to install and when restarting the console it indicates it has found a Blu-ray drive and restarts and away you go as simple as that

The perfect add on for disc users.
An excellent item for the PS5 digital accessory. The only down side to the disc drive is on some consoles it has registered which on some types it has minor problems. Accessibility is great. But for offline use this is where the problem comes in. Not saying it not great. It's fantastic way to stretch limitations of the digital consoles. I think PlayStation needs to make improvements and allowed further backwards compatibility.

A must to extend gameplay
This is definitely worth purchasing if you have the digital edition or the pro version (which is what we got). Although it is very easy to purchase digital games, if you already have a small library of games on disc it is nice to have the option to be able to use them still. Really easy to attach to the console and is working very well.

Yes it does fit cfi-2016...searched numerous sites all saying no, but does fit as drive no CFI-ZDD1 is generic to the slim.
