I had gone back and forth on the disc drive for a while, and I finally decided to pick it up to not limit myself to purely digital games and I am so glad i did. It is very easy to install and also quiet whilst running. I would highly recommend it if you are still on the fence.

This Disc Drive is for PS5 Digital Edition Consoles, model group – slim. The PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Editions include CFI-2016 and CFI-2000.

Yes it does fit cfi-2016...searched numerous sites all saying no, but does fit as drive no CFI-ZDD1 is generic to the slim.
