I’ve had the ps5 slim digital for a while never bought he disc attachment for it because it was too expensive as the whole thing. But I managed to buy it from here it’s really good n ony took 2 seconds to attach onto the ps5 it’s also brand new and took 1 day to arrive to me.

I bought this to go with a new PS5 pro, as I tend to buy games physically and like the option to trade. This comes with the drive plus a new side plate , which is the right shape to cover the drive. It's plug and play really. Pop the side off, plug it in, plug in new side. It register and off you go., It's really not too costly for a UHD drive either. for me it was an essential add on and it works great. Very happy with it.

Yes it does fit cfi-2016...searched numerous sites all saying no, but does fit as drive no CFI-ZDD1 is generic to the slim.
