What a great all rounder this. Very powerful iron and steaming works best when your items are on the ironing board. Very good hand held steaming for hanging fabrics as long as the creases aren’t too deep.

The Steam Genie turned out to be really good. It is well made, solid construction. Probably heavier than expected but that is understandable. Holds sufficient water for its intended use and should fill no more than the "Max" mark you will have no problem. Great ceramic sole which retains heat. With a trigger underneath the handle you can deliver plenty of steam on demand, or you can lock it for a continuous flow of steam. It is a fantastic small iron if you prefer to use both dry and with a puff of steam if needed. The cable is almost 10 feet long, so you are not hampered by a power socket being too far away. There are 3 tools which firmly attaches to the sole for different range of fabrics, from upholstery, suits and dresses, linen, fine silks etc. Or, use it like an ordinary iron. When finished and cooled down, it is stored in a heat resistant drawstring bag. Great too as a travel iron.
