The Steam Genie turned out to be really good. It is well made, solid construction. Probably heavier than expected but that is understandable. Holds sufficient water for its intended use and should fill no more than the "Max" mark you will have no problem. Great ceramic sole which retains heat. With a trigger underneath the handle you can deliver plenty of steam on demand, or you can lock it for a continuous flow of steam. It is a fantastic small iron if you prefer to use both dry and with a puff of steam if needed. The cable is almost 10 feet long, so you are not hampered by a power socket being too far away. There are 3 tools which firmly attaches to the sole for different range of fabrics, from upholstery, suits and dresses, linen, fine silks etc. Or, use it like an ordinary iron. When finished and cooled down, it is stored in a heat resistant drawstring bag. Great too as a travel iron.

It heats up and produces steam. It also collects condensation at the bottom of the unit which gets all over the clothes. It’s not a great product for the money. I wish i had returned it sooner but life got in the way now I'm out of pocket. If you do try it keep the box & receipt to return it quick if you suffer the same disappointment as I

Good iron.
I bought this iron and steamer and was pleasantly surprised. It appears to be very straight forward to use. The steaming/ironing process can easily use up a litre of water. There are 3 accessories, I used the one for delicates but haven't tried the others. Be careful to hover the item over the clothes as the bristles tend to bend. Having said that as long as you hover carefully of the items the accessories are not necessary. As an iron this item is very good. As a steamer- it does the job very well.
