About this product
Say hello to stress-free ironing with the Russell Hobbs Colour Control Pro Ultra Steam Iron. Its clever digital colour display takes the guesswork out of fabric care, changing from blue for delicate synthetics through to red for tough denim, so you'll always know when you've hit the perfect temperature. Powered by 2800 watts, this iron is ready to tackle your laundry in under 30 seconds, letting you breeze through everything from silk blouses to cotton bedsheets with confidence.
The non-stick ceramic soleplate glides across fabrics while the powerful 195g per minute steam output tackles stubborn creases. A 380ml water tank lets you iron many items before refilling, and the anti-drip system prevents water marks. The vertical steam function freshens hanging clothes or curtains, and the self-clean and anti-scale systems maintain performance. Auto shut-off offers peace of mind, and at 1.38kg with a 3m cord, it's comfortable with great reach. Register online for a 3-year guarantee, ensuring this iron meets your laundry needs for years.

Lightweight iron with excellent steam output, smooth gliding, and easy-to-use color-coded temperature controls. Long cord and good value praised, but water tank visibility and temperature/steam control inconsistencies noted.

Terrific Iron
A great iron, powerful and light to handle but removes creases in very dry garments with ease.

Long lead
Fairly pleased with the iron. I like the long lead and it glides over the fabrics. The only problem I find is the button for adjusting the temperature is directly under my hand and several times I've altered the temperature as my hand moved. Also I would have preferred an on/off switch.

My Review Russell Hobbs 27281 Colour Control Pro U
I am extremely pleased with this iron. It heats up quickly, glides smoothly over all types of fabric, and removes creases with very little effort. The steam output is excellent, making ironing much faster than with my previous iron. It feels well-made and comfortable to use, and the water tank lasts long enough for larger loads. Overall, a fantastic product that I would highly recommend & great value for money.

A good iron
Bought this iron a week ago and so far it has been great. Easy to use controls. Only niggle is that the water tank is quite dark so it’s difficult to see the water level.

Still going strong!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this iron for a few years now & it is still working to perfection. The settings are easy and it heats up quickly. Honestly never thought I’d be so impressed by an iron.

Great lightweight iron
Bought last week as an urgent replacement for my broken iron. First impression is great….lightweight, decent steam, long cord. My only slight niggle is filling is a bit tricky given the dark colour…you can’t easily see the water level. Great price….discounted at Argos.
