Russell Hobbs 27281 Colour Control Pro Ultra Steam
I’ve had this now for several months and it is about the best iron I have owned. No fiddly dials just push the button for the heat setting and the iron displays a different colour light the hotter the setting. It is light and glides effortlessly. Creases drop out without having to use too much pressure so very easy on the arms and plenty of steam when needed, where needed; no kinking in the cable either.

An iron that does the job - really well
This is a really good iron - first, it does its job well - wrinkle free clothes. Second, it is easy to use - select the temperature which is colour coded, wait for the beep and you are good to go. It steams efficiently too. It’s well priced and you certainly don’t need anything more expensive.

Easy Iron
Have only used once so far but it glides nicely over fabrics and is making ironing quicker. The colour change temperature is a bonus and useful. Creates more steam than my previous iron. Not too heavy but is sturdy.

It’s a stop gap iron - not bad but it’s tricky to see how much water is in the tank. Does spit water. Warms up really fast but takes time to cool down.

This is a fantastic iron. Best iron I have owned. Not had a Russell Hobbs before and it heats up quickly, really presses well, has a good level of heat options and the steam is really good. I am more than happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

If the iron is motionless, it will switch off after about 30 seconds with the soleplate down, or about 8 minutes if it’s upright.
