It delivers 200g per minute continuous steam at 7 bar pressure, handling delicate synthetics to heavy cotton and linen. The 350g per minute steam shot tackles stubborn wrinkles, and the ceramic soleplate glides smoothly for effortless ironing.
The detachable 1.8L water tank offers ample capacity for longer ironing and refills during use with continuous fill. Ready in 2 minutes 30 seconds, it has pre-set programmes for nylon, acrylics, wool blends, and cotton or linen to simplify temperature settings. Vertical steam freshens hanging garments and curtains without taking them down, while the anti-drip system prevents water marks. Weighing 0.81kg for the iron and 5.06kg overall, it's comfortable to handle with 1.9m power and 1.8m steam cords. Powerful Iron
I brought this 2 months ago. It's very powerful, the steam is strong. It takes a couple of minutes to heat up. It's excellent for a steaming clothes you can't iron directly. Takes the creases out perfect. It's got an on/off switch wish is very handy for safety. It doesn't drip water like some irons.

So easy to use and store. The cabling is the easiest to tidy that I have ever had. The tank is very easily filled and emptied and, of course, it irons really well, good level of steam.

Quick and easy to use
We’re really impressed. The iron itself is light and easy to use (the steam generator base is big, but sits easily on a stool or similar next to the ironing board). Loads of steam. Much quicker ironing than a conventional steam iron.

Quiet SuperSteam Generator Blue

Super iron

Would Recommend
Opted for this after my Morphy Richard’s packed up after 6 months use. This is far superior in every way, very big water chamber and the iron is so light. The steam pressure is excellent, the only negative is trying to stand the iron on the ironing board when turning clothes over but saying that the other one I owned was the same, I think it’s because of the thick pipe into the iron.

Great Value and performance
When I bought this i wasn't really interested in the 10% lower noise feature as I had never had a steam generator iron before so had nothing to compare it against. I can tell you though that compared to my previous Rowenta Steam Iron which was cheap it is by far superior. The large reservoir means you are not filling the iron up during long ironing sessions and the always ready steam make ironing much easier. I would highly recommend especially at the price i paid.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Russell Hobbs Quiet Steam Generator Iron 24470: ''The 24470 Quiet Super Steam Generator Blue should NOT be descaled as it is already equipped with an anti scale cartridge.
You should perform the after use and maintenance steps from the manual on pages 5 and 6 as frequently as possible. Please change the anti scale cartridge regularly too.''
