Faulty digital thermostat
The unit is a quite compact but still heats an average sized room really well. However after a few days it became clear the thermostat wasn't working and the heater was running all the time. I returned this unit and swapped it for the equivalent heater with manual dials on the side (581/2080) and the new one works brilliantly - sometimes simple is best!

Great heater for meduim sized room
I purchased the heater to warm our bedroom during the winter. It is great as i can put it in the timer about an hour before bed and then leave it on for a hours and then it goes off and again the in morning. It heats the rom preferectly

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for BUSH DF2360R 2KW Digital Convector with Remote Control.
This convector heater is not intended to be used as a fan during the summer months.
This product is not suitable for use on deep pile carpet or long hair type rugs. The heater is fitted with a safety switch which cuts the heater off if it falls over. Standing the unit on a long pile carpet may not activate the switch.

Hello, I can advise that as this Bush DF2360R 2kW Digital Convector with Remote Control is a 2000W heater, the maximum amount of power consumed per hour in kwhr (kilowatt hours, the unit used when being charged for electricity) is 2kwhr. With current electricity tariffs or between 20-25p per kilowatt hour, on maximum power this will be 40-50p per hour.
