It's a cable. I have nothing more to add. You can connect one end to a computer and the other to, say, a printer and they can work together. It's too early co comment on its durability.

I only wanted to connect my new HP printer to my laptop via a USB cable that I knew was not included. A friend recommended this one and it works perfectly although rather longer than I needed. As always, online purchase and then collection from Argos in my local Sainsury's was very easy.
