Improved suction over previous version but not as robust. The ball and socket joint at the bottom is dodgy as the securing clip occasionally slips out.

V, well packaged, easy to assemble. Good suction, light is v. useful. Lightweight and easily stored. Slight issue with suction at the edge (along skirtings etc) but no worse than other major brands.

Dust seems to gather at the battery end of the bin but still is efficient. Prefer the position of the release button on my last one.

Good but not as good
Vacuum is efficient, as was my first one. However the release on the handle is too low (it used to be at the top), you have to bend down to extend the handle, bad design. Also the handle does not lock at a low angle, therefore you can't tilt the front of the vacuum. These are probably cost saving designs, but it has spoilt a perfectly good unit.

The Vacuum can be used on hard floors so yes tiles will be fine. You can also check with the tile manufacturer if it is suitable.

This particular AirRam 2 doesn't have a handheld function and so vacuuming stairs may be awkward due to the size of the vacuum head.
