About this product
The Gtech AirRam 2 K9 is a cordless upright designed specifically for homes with pets, and it's seriously light at just over 3kg. The AirLOC system picks up fine dust, larger debris, and pet hair with ease, and the powerful motorised brushbar drives right into carpets to lift stubborn dirt. It runs for up to 40 minutes on a full charge, which takes a few hours, and there's a low battery indicator so you won't get caught out halfway through. The dust bin is a good size for pet owners, and the clean eject system means you can empty it without getting your hands dirty.
The sweet-smelling filter tabs tackle pet odours, and the washable filter means you're not constantly buying replacements. The aluminium components handle tougher cleaning jobs without wearing down, and the motorised floorhead works brilliantly across carpets, deep pile, wool, hard floors, laminate and upholstery. It's got plenty of power for everyday messes and pet hair, and it's easy to manoeuvre around furniture and tight spots. The whole thing stores away neatly without taking up too much room.

There was no doubt in my mind when after ten years I needed another hoover, it had to be another Gtech. It seems to be the only one that get the dog hair properly of the carpets. Emptying it is a doddle without getting covered in clouds of dust.

Love my GTech vacuum. Works really well and picks up all the dog hair dropped by my puppy really well. Battery lasts a long time and the machine is really quite powerful. Not my first Gtech that I have owned and would not buy any other brand now.

My new K9 machine is making a funny noise ! I have a few GTech machines which I am very pleased with but this machine is working ok except for the noise ! I have cleaned out the brush bar and filter & all seems ok ! Have a view of the video & see what you think !

Hi,
The battery can be charged whilst it’s in the AirRam, or when it’s off the product. You will need to plug the charger into the mains and connect it to the battery. The battery can be charged from flat in
4 hours. This vacuum is not wall mounted.

I am sorry it would be difficult to say how hard or easy the Vacuum would be on a shagpile carpet. This would be down to the individual. It is suitable for deep pile carpet.

The Gtech AirRam MK2 K9 Cordless Upright Vacuum Cleaner comes with a washable filter, this needs washing regularly to maintain suction. There is only 1 filter in the box.

"The AirRam is predominately a floor vacuum that does not come with attachments. However, we do sell a Speed Cleaning Kit which includes a smaller handle. This can be attached to the vacuum to turn it into a handheld upholstery cleaner that would be ideal for cleaning stairs."

Not really good for stairs but the hand held G Tech is brilliant on stairs. The upright one is too big & hard to manoeuvre to the edges.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: I can confirm that you can vacuum a mattress with this vacuum, however we do suggest to use the Speed Cleaning Kit as this has enables the vacuum to be converted to a hand-held device. The Speed Cleaning Kit can be purchased from the Gtech website.
