The Gtech AirRam K9, a cordless convenient vacuum, has been designed for great cleaning - even the most stubborn challenges left behind by your pets. Lightweight and easy to use, it features a sweet-smelling filter and clean eject dirt system. Its new pending patent AirLOC system picks up dirt, fine dust, larger objects, and has a powerful rotating brushbar making it ideal for pet hair.

Second one not as good as first one
This is our second one as first is getting long in tooth and having replaced number of wheels and the handle cracked, decided to get new one. Fantastic to order and rapid delivery. The material plastic feels thinner / more brittle compared to our original one. The handle has moulding flow lines and dust removal slider feels more fragile. Hopefully not engineered to save cost over quality and fingers crossed this gives same service as first one. Time will tell.

The battery can be charged whilst it’s in the AirRam, or when it’s off the product. You will need to plug the charger into the mains and connect it to the battery. The battery can be charged from flat in
4 hours. This vacuum is not wall mounted.

I am sorry it would be difficult to say how hard or easy the Vacuum would be on a shagpile carpet. This would be down to the individual. It is suitable for deep pile carpet.

The supplier has advised the following for the Gtech MK2 K9 AirRam Cordless Upright Vacuum Cleaner:
"The AirRam is predominately a floor vacuum that does not come with attachments. However, we do sell a Speed Cleaning Kit which includes a smaller handle. This can be attached to the vacuum to turn it into a handheld upholstery cleaner that would be ideal for cleaning stairs."

Not really good for stairs but the hand held G Tech is brilliant on stairs. The upright one is too big & hard to manoeuvre to the edges.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: I can confirm that you can vacuum a mattress with this vacuum, however we do suggest to use the Speed Cleaning Kit as this has enables the vacuum to be converted to a hand-held device. The Speed Cleaning Kit can be purchased from the Gtech website.
