I bought this HP304 cartridge last month from Argos as it is getting very hard to find somewhere that actually sells them and I needed it in a hurry to print some documents, fortunately Argos still stock them and it took me no time or trouble to go into town and get the cartridge, I am always grateful to have an Argos nearby, especially when I need something immediately, and the price was excellent, I am very happy with my purchase

I purchased this cartridge on the 24 January 26 but it is faulty. I have to remove it from the printer and shake it to and refit it in the printer to get it to work each morning.

Best of a bad bunch.
If you have to use HP304 cartridges these are probably the best of a bad bunch. They work and print well but aren’t good value as they don’t last long. None of the HP304s do and most of the non genuine cartridges don’t work, at least not for long. Sainsbury were fine and the service was good, it’s just these HP304 cartridges are a rip off imo.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the HP 304 Black Original Ink Cartridge & Instant Ink Compatible: ''Deskjet 2800 series is usually HP 305 ink cartridge but it’s worth checking the specific model of printer – 2810e and 2820e sold on Argos take the 305.
There would be 1 cartridge in the pack.''

I can advise that the HP Officejet 5740 uses the 62 or 62XL ink cartridges, so the HP 304 Original Ink Cartridge - Colour will not be compatible.
