As usual HP ink never disappoints. It is compatible with my printer and the print is dark and sharp. Yield depends on amount of printing but it’s a decent amount and only fades when ink is low. Wouldn’t buy any other brands

There would be 1 cartridge in the pack.''

I can advise that the HP Officejet 5740 uses the 62 or 62XL ink cartridges, so the HP 304 Original Ink Cartridge - Colour will not be compatible.
