No it doesn't I have bought today after reading Adrian's answer and its not true unless they have given me the wrong train but I don't know how because they only sell one type of train! Not really happy!

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know Yes – the block sizes are exactly the same- only difference is that the block on top of the musical train has the sound mechanism.
