Dogs that roam into rooms you'd rather keep off-limits need clear boundaries without drilling holes everywhere. This Pet Gate Extension Pack expands the Pet Safety Gate (sold separately) up to 96cm using 2 included 7cm extensions. Designed for small to medium dogs, the pressure-fit system holds firm when secured with wall cups that need screwing into place for proper safety. The double-locking mechanism prevents determined noses from pushing through.
The extensions slot in without complicated assembly, which matters when you're adjusting room access as puppies grow or household layouts change. Wall cups must be fitted - never use without them, as pressure alone won't prevent tipping or displacement. The step-over bar sits at 74cm height, so it stops dogs while letting adults walk through easily. Wipe down the metal components to remove paw prints and dust between rooms.

Extension set incompatible with stair gate
This extension kit is inherently incompatible with the BabyDan stair gate and should not be advertised as if it is or sold together with it. I was obliged to return this and the gate and purchase the same gate with the compatible extension parts from another competitor supplier for only £3 more than your price. It was also confusing that neither item was properly identified with a part or model number.

Bought with the Scandinavian pressure fit pet gate as the gate itself is too small for my hallway without the extension. However despite it being the recommended extension kit by Argos it isn't compatible with the gate and had to return both the gate and extension :-(

Gate extension
This unfortunately didn’t fit the tall black pet gate as it’s meant for a shorter standard size gate. A shame. Had to be returned which was easy to do and refund was timely.

The Scandinavian pet design gate is incompatible with the extension pack sold by Argos. I will be returning the extension pack. The video referred to shows a gate that is compatible with the extension pack. But you can buy an extension pack elsewhere. The gate is very sturdy so I want to hold on to it.
The extended packs don’t fit with the gate currently being sold and that the below Argos answer says does fit. The openings to slot on the extender are simply not there. It may have fit a previous version of this gate back in 2019 but not this one.
