About this product
Not suitable for use as a child safety gate. The gate uses pressure to secure it in place and for extra security the wall cups must be screwed in the desired position. It contains two 7cm extensions. It helps to extend the Pet Safety Gate (9559428 - sold separately) to 96cm.

Gate extension
This unfortunately didn’t fit the tall black pet gate as it’s meant for a shorter standard size gate. A shame. Had to be returned which was easy to do and refund was timely.

Great addition to existing gate
I bought this to enable me to use my pet gate in more places around the home that the gate alone wasn't wide enough for. There are 2 pieces, one for each side in the pack and you can add one or both. Nice and sturdy, easy to fit and a reasonable price. Does the job perfectly.

The Scandinavian pet design gate is incompatible with the extension pack sold by Argos. I will be returning the extension pack. The video referred to shows a gate that is compatible with the extension pack. But you can buy an extension pack elsewhere. The gate is very sturdy so I want to hold on to it.
The extended packs don’t fit with the gate currently being sold and that the below Argos answer says does fit. The openings to slot on the extender are simply not there. It may have fit a previous version of this gate back in 2019 but not this one.
