did not work
As soon as I started to hammer the nail into the plaster it began to bend, and ended up useless. Happened each time I tried. Why don't they make them with hardened steel, eg like masonry nails? I ended up using those instead. Very disappointing.

Picture hooks !
This hooks popped up on the recommended purchase for a fairly large mirror I bought from Argos. They were not needed as too flimsy for the weight of the mirror. Just check before believing a recommendation from Argos !

“ The hook kit set can be used for wall arts and mirrors. The set is comprised of 18 hooks for up to 4kg, 12 hooks for up to 8kg, 16 hooks for up to12kg, and 6 hooks for up to 20kg. ”

There are two sizes of nails in this product, one is 2.5cm and the other one is 3.8cm.

These are traditional picture hooks and are accompanied with nails which can embedded into most wall surfaces with with the tap of a hammer. Please remember that these these kind of hooks are designed for the majority of home hanging tasks on internal cavity walls / drywall, but the nails are may not be suitable or strong enough for solid brick walls. As a word of caution, always check for components behind the wall you are trying to tap a nail into by using a wire detector or any other device suitable for alerting you to components hidden behind a wall.
