Great little heater. Use it to keep my conservatory cosy. Low setting is plenty warm enough. Economical too compared to fan heaters.

The right price - warm enough don't expect miracle
Better than nothing in a pinch - our boiler is faulting the gas dude has no clue why not that he's looked at it. For now we still have heating etc - I got this just to stay the night if required - I tested it. It gets hot-ish but I'll need a fan heater to go alongside for winter temps

Not exactly the same but similar issue.Bought this radiator to leave in room of someone with dementia, to provide gentle background heat overnight and occasionally during day.
Whist this radiator is coming to temperature it gets super, super hot, too hot to touch for more than a nano second. Temperature is much hotter than my normal central heating radiators.
Trying to figure out what sort of guard would work to surround radiator to ensure it can be left in room safely.

Hello, I can advise that based of the 2Kw Bush Oil filled Radiator being used for 6 hours per day, at the price of the standard Electric Price cap in the UK this would cost roughly £2.94, however these figures are an estimate and may differ depending on the size of the room, energy costs which can drop and rise and other possible factors which can increase the usage of the heater. Bought this Model November 2025. Had same question and I was worried appliance was faulty.
After 8 emails to Bush Technical Support and Argos Technical Support, 3 online chats, 2 phone calls to Argos helpline I finally got answer.
The last fin is not meant or designed to heat up.
Argos Technical Helpline and Bush Helpline could and should do much better. My attempts to resolve this query wasted hours of my time. Trying to get a sensible answer was like trying to find Shergar.
Hello, I am also thinking of getting a fin radiator for my flat. I am thinking maybe the outer panels dont get hot as a safety feature for moving the appliance around.
I recently purchased this radiator and the last fin is also not heating, plan to return this for a refund as I have another make and the last fin does heat so it must be a Bush fault.
