The Marcy UB9000 weight bench has been designed to provide a multitude of purposes. This robust weight bench is engineered from 14-gauge steel and with an enhanced backrest adjustment system using a specialised saw-tooth hook design for exceptional stability and support up to 270 kg. With 6 back pad adjustment angles, 4 seat pad angles and a 2 height adjustable leg developer, you can use this elite weight bench to train your upper body and work your glutes, hamstrings and quadriceps. Combine with a Power Rack or Power Cage to create a home gym.

Good range of inclinations
I bought this 2 months ago. It's simple to build and has a good range of incline options. the leg extension / curl feature is good but if you exceed 60 kgs the bench begins to lose stability without a counter weight on top of the back feet section. For the price its a great piece of kit . very happy with it

Very good
Happy with my purchase. Fairly easy to assemble, comfortable to use. There was a part missing but this was sorted very quickly. Would make the same purchase again.

Sturdy and well made
Waited until it was on offer which made it a bargain. Wanted it specifically for the leg exercises and to replace an ageing bench(40+ years old!). So if this one lasts as long it will outlast me. Assembly took about 20mins -you will need some spanners or an adjustable. It is sturdy and stable and well made.

Bought this a month ago and i have to say I'm impressed, I've seen worse commercial benches in some of my low priced local gyms if I'm honest, the reviews were people say doesn't adjust smoothly is we're they've over tightened the bolts and not put it up correctly so don't be put of by some people's negative reviews, if you put this bench up correctly you won't have any issues with it

Great bench! Sturdy and comfortable to use. The only criticism I would give is that the back rest and seat pinch together hard when on full incline, so you have to force the back rest up. The gap between the two needs to be a bit wider but I'm sure will ease after time.

Good bench, leg extension attachment works well. Only problem is you can't use it for decline bench press as the decline is very severe

Hello Joel. The Marcy UB9000 Adjustable Weight Bench with Leg Developer has weight plates of 1 inch and 2 inch and can deal with up to 45kg or 100lb.

You can use weights with either 1 inch, or 2 inch holes. It comes with adapters.

Its 18inch at the seat end and 19inch at the top of the back rest from the floor to the bench

I dont know why the staff are giving out wrong information but it clearly states in the discription about this bench what it can be used for and it can be used with a rack of any sort or cage for bench pressing it can hold up to 270kg including your body weight the clue is in the title weight bench lol
I use it in my power rack Im 105 kg body weight and I bench 120kg no probs with it so that well within the safety limits of what this bench can handle

Hi Rick the staff are mistaken yes you can detach the leg extension attachment its very simple and quick it has a release pin under the seat you pull and then the leg extension attachment lifts out

The manual doesn't specify an exact clearance - only that it should be positioned on a clear, level surface. As a guide, the equipment itself measures H117, W59, D160cm.

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know No, you cannot attach a preacher pad to the UB9000. The post where you could attach it to use is too short.
