I bought this CD player/boom box as a Christmas gift for my elderly father. The delivery from warehouse to home was less than 24 hours. Very impressed (as this was a very last minute gift) It’s simple to use, gives good sound and small enough to carry from one place to another. My father uses it every single day for the radio and to play CD’s.

I wanted to be able to play some old cassettes and cds as well as listening to the radio. Small and compact so doesn’t need a lot of space. Ideal for listening to in the kitchen as I cook. I would have liked a display for wave lengths when tuning the radio but not a really a problem for me as I generally listen to the one program. The tone is good and for the price a bargain.

Yes, you can record to tape, audio received/played from external devices (like a record player) through this products (3.5mm) Aux-IN input port. However, this product does not incorporate a built in microphone.

Apologies for any confusion, Pam was having a bad day. Its correct this product has an AUX-IN socket, however, this is an INPUT for connecting external audio sources. Unfortunately, there is no Headphone Audio OUTPUT socket. Therefore the correct answer is NO, you cannot use headphones with this product.

The Bush CD Radio Cassette Boombox has a 3.5mm aux in port. You will need a standard 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect an external device to the boombox's "Line in" or "Aux in" socket.
