The Truvo incorporates a traffic-light LED function which gives you a clear indication of any metal or wires that may be lurking behind closed doors. This detector can identify ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and live cables beneath surfaces. However, it does not mention floorboards specifically, and its effectiveness depends on the type of pipe you are trying to detect. It can detect metal pipes (such as copper or steel) and pipes with live cables up to certain depths (70 mm for metal, 50 mm for live cables), but it will not detect plastic pipes.

Yes, the Bosch Truvo Electrical Detector is designed to detect both metal pipes and live electrical cables behind plasterboard on a stud wall. It can detect live wires up to a depth of 50 mm and metal objects up to 70 mm deep.

The Truvo is not designed to detect pipes, but it will detect things through brick.
“Detectable materials: Ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, live cables.

Detection depth, copper, max. 60mm
Detection depth of live cables, max. 50mm”

I think the Argos answer should say 60mm max depth, not 6mm

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bosch Truvo Electrical Detector: ''The Bosch Truvo can be used to detect pipes through screed. The screed must be dry for detection purposes. The max 6mm depth still applies.''
