The Rolls Royce of ironing boards
Easy to use, good size, good value for money

Great rectangle ironing board!
I bought this for my mum along with a new iron because she was using a really old one. We found the rectangle shape to be practical. It’s good for irons with a steamer and there’s still plenty of space to do the ironing and folding.

Great ironing surface
Different shape than we have been used to, certainly offers a greater ironing surface and didn’t take long to get used to.

It's big and sturdy
Bought 3wks ago. It's quite big. Good sturdy legs. it will take some time to get used to it. Bought extra covers for it!

Creaky and wobbly rubbish
The ironing board is a good size, but it creaks loudly every time you push the iron down on it and it rocks and wobbles slightly. It has plastic parts in the channels that hold it up that don’t fit very well. It’s poorly designed and I’m surprised it’s so rubbish considering it’s one of the more expensive ones. The foam like fabric under the cover also already has indentations in it and will most likely become very lumpy and useless. Really poor quality. I bought it for pressing sewing projects and the shape and size is great but the constant creaking is really annoying. Not worth £40 just for it to be this shape. I started the return process but it’s so large I’m not sure I’ll be able to return it.

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Addis 125 x 41cm Shirt Master Ironing Board: ''The board length is 125cm. The legs width at the lowest setting is 106cm and at the highest setting is 86cm.''
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello Rosie 24,
The supplier has advised the following for the Addis 125 x 41cm Shirt Master Ironing Board:
“ I can confirm the guarantee period for the Shirtmaster Ironing Board is 10 years. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Sorry I don’t know but i do know Argos don’t sell the covers which I don’t understand why not only place is Addis probably at a premium I contacted Addis regarding the plastic feet are not ideal for laminate/vinyl flooring rubber would be better but got no reply
Amazingly so, particularly if the trousers are particularly long. No need to drape over the board, most trousers can be ironed in a single step. Really recommend this board.
Hi fairfield
Yes, the Addis 125 x 41cm Shirt Master Ironing Board is indeed suitable for ironing trousers.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Yes and even better, when ironing long heavy curtains, love it!!!!
Hi there,
The warranty will cover any manufacturing faults/defects.
Thanks for using Q&A
It depends on what type of ironing board hanger you have e.g. Brabantia only seem to work with same-brand boards. My ironing board hanger will take this board easily.
Hi Gp10,
No, the Addis 125 x 41cm Shirt Master Ironing Board doesn't have a lip or any attachment to hang it up with.
Thank you for contacting Q&A
If there were I think you wouldn't be able to do it because of the legs. I hang mine on a door with 2 metal 'hooks' that cradle the leg. They are often used for garden tools (like spades). You can get them from a hardware shop or somewhere like Screwfix.
Cheaper at Robert dayers
Lawtons. Ive just bought 2 as I couldnt get them anywhere else on line.WWW.LAWSONSHOP.COM

Direct from Addis. Styles are limited, but the one with the shirt design is rather nice!
As Neil pointed out, these covers are available direct from Addis but they do NOT deliver to Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man etc.etc.
Hi,
These will be available directly from the Manufacturer.
Hope this helps,
Thanks for using Q & A
It depends on how big or heavy it is. I have a small-ish steam generator and it fits perfectly. Always check the length of the steam generator power cord so that it is long enough to reach the board. You will also lose ironing space, which kinda detracts from the benefits of this board. I actually put my generator on a small table next to the iron, I just find that a lot easier.
Yes if its a small to medium sized steam generator. The larger ones really should be placed on a more stable surface since ALL ironing boards are somewhat flexible or wobbly.
Hello Kele,
I can confirm that you would be able to use a steam iron with this ironing board.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Q&A
Yes,but very tinny
Yes. However the ironing surface, under the ironing board cover, is an open metal mesh that allows the steam to pass through. This helps with the finish but steam will condense on the underside of the mesh, indeed on all metal surfaces of the frame. As the board is a non-standard shape I recommend you consider buying a spare cover direct from Addis. I like this board.
Yes
Yes. It has 4 or 5 notches on the adjuster underneath. Very handy because sometimes I want to sit to do my ironing, but also if you are tall. Addis have done a very good job with this product.
Hi Spain
The Addis Shirt Master Ironing Board does have adjustable working heights. (See picture 4 of 6).
Thanks for using Q&A.
