I bought this to replace a 15 year old version which the locking mechanism had failed.this new hose reel is excellent there is nowhere in the garden it won’t reach with its 40m hose and it locks in place when extended and reels back in easily.the new nossle is good too with a lot of adjustment from a trickle to quite a forceful jet.

This was purchased to replace one we had for years, wouldn’t be without one, works great and retracts super quick. Very handy to not have a hose laying around and keeps it all neat and tidy and protects the hose from sun damage.

don't buy have bought back due to leaking after 6days use, bought another one started leaking after 2 days , tried to contact hozelock rang them they told me to fill in form online did that it's been 2 weeks haven't heard from them customer service appalling will not buy hozelock anymore after spending over £151.00 pounds for a hoze, would expect it to last more than 2days.

This is my 2nd Hozelock autoreel I now have one at each end of the garden. They are fantastic, hoze retracts brilliantly(It can be quite fast do so be careful) doesn't kink Love it!

Great retraction but heavy price tag
Been wanting to get a retracable hose for a long time but was always put off by the cost. I finally decided to get one and have not been disappointed so far. The retraction and length are both ideal. It just loses a star for tboe cost and heaviness.

New 40metre garden wall mounted auto lock and reta
I bought the 40m wall mounted auto retract to replace my 20 something year old which had started not to retract fully. It’s more or less like for like the new one has an auto lock when you stop pulling the hose out which is a big improvement. Comparing the new and old I see no reason why this one won’t last 20+ years

The AutoReel uses a premium, anti-kink hose that is custom-made specifically for this product. It is not available for separate purchase.

When it is time to rewind the hose, a simple tug unlatches the drum, and the Auto Reel’s patented automatic rewind system takes over. The braking mechanism ensures a controlled rewind whilst the layering system neatly coils the hose with no kinks or tangles.
