About this product
The Silentnight Knightly Double Divan Bed provides restful nights with support and practical storage. This set pairs a supportive divan base with a memory foam and pocket sprung mattress for comfort and function. The grey fabric base has four drawers, two on each side, for bedding, clothes or everyday items. The memory foam layer moulds to your body, easing pressure points, while 2000 pocket springs respond independently to movements, keeping your spine aligned and reducing disturbance. Medium firmness suits most sleeping styles, back, side or front.
The mattress has a quilted knit cover that feels smooth against sheets and protects the layers inside. It's single-sided, so rotate it head to toe regularly to maintain even wear. The anti-allergy treatment reduces dust mites and allergens for cleaner rest. The divan base splits into two pieces, making it easier to move through doorways and up stairs during delivery. Plastic castors let you shift it for cleaning underneath without heavy lifting. Minimal assembly required; two people recommended. Comes with a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee. This is a very good bed, made by a reputable company (Silentnight) and sol at a reasonable price from Argos. It is comfortable. The mattress is quite firm, although I quickly got used to it.

This has got to be the most comfortable bed I have slept in. I am small in stature and my wife is almost a foot taller, however it supports us both despite our height differences and conditions.

Delivery person damaged front door bringing bed in had to get a joiner to fix so I could close door .one was helping the other refused to carry it upstairs

Bought this last month it says check the mattress before unpacking .checked it and had a spring sticking through making a hole .They sent a new bed and mattress was good but the base was also damaged on the draws but as already unpacked .got a small refund as fed up waiting for decent product .had to get the draws repaired but ok now .

I bought this super king divan to replace a king divan I'd bought a few months ago that didn't meet the expected measurements. I was pleasantly surprised at just how big it is. It's extremely comfortable, nice and firm. Easy to put together and the drawers are very roomy. Would recommend buying Emperor size duvet and duvet set to ensure there's plenty of cover.

Great quality and comfort for price - minor damage
I bought this to replace a slatted ottoman bed and thin sprung mattress as I needed better support for joint pain. Although only a half ottoman it has lots of storage and is easy to lift and close. Unlike my last bed the ottoman lift function did not need any installation or building and I was able to fix the divan and headboard on my own. The bed and mattress are firm but comfortable and I've had a huge reduction in aches on waking. The pale grey is a lovely colour and looks great with lots of other colours for bedding and decor. Unfortunately though it was slightly water stained at the bottom on arrival which I hope will resolve with a steam clean as I do not want the inconvenience of waiting and removals/delivery and rebuilding. Be careful also removing the staples that have been used to hold on labels and protective cardboard as unfortunately one of these has resulted in a small tear in the fabric. Note that delivery drivers were reluctant to deliver further than the front door as apparently they are not meant to enter 'new houses' or houses with 'new carpet' Overall though I am very happy with the bed and family members are already thinking about buying the same one
