Lovely little table but I had a hard time putting it together. The screws were very sharp so it was hard to hold them and twist them into place.

So simple and good value. Simple to put together. However, I suggest putting screws in the top placed upside down on a firm surface then screwing legs in. Far easier than method shown in the instructions. Am talking from experience. I have two of these tables.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Argos Home Apley End Table - Black.
This table has not been designed for that purpose. To ensure stability and prevent the 6ft artificial Christmas tree from collapsing, we do not recommend placing it on this end table.

The overall table Width and Depth is W45, D45cm. Each leg measures 4.5cms squared. Based on these figures, the distance between the table legs would be approximately 36cm.
