The Habitat Hallie Fabric Manager Office Chair gives you a comfortable spot to get through your work day. You'll be sitting at your desk for hours at a time, so it's got high-density foam in the seat that holds its shape and supports you properly. The grey fabric upholstery feels soft and looks clean and modern. You can adjust the height to match your desk, so you're sitting at the right level. The tilt and lock system lets you find that sweet spot where you're properly comfortable, then lock it in place. It swivels too, so you can reach across your workspace without awkward stretching.
The mechanism underneath's built for daily use, that's tilt, swivel and lock all working smoothly together. The fabric covers both the seat and backrest, so there's no cold plastic or hard surfaces against you. It adjusts from 46.5 to 56cm in height, so it'll suit most desk setups and different body heights. It's tested to support users up to 110kg safely. Self-assembly required, everything you need comes in the box. There's a two-year guarantee on the chair and one-year on the fabric.

Basic office chair for short term use
The chair looks nice but it's not as comfy as it looks. The back is very straight and the padding isn't that soft so doesn't contour to the back. A bit awkward to put together as well. Will do for the short term and would probably be fine for occasional homeworkers, but I will be upgrading soon.

Worth considering
Useful size basic, office style chair for bedroom workstation. Didn’t want anything too big or heavy, but it needed to be comfortable enough for prolonged periods sitting in front of a computer. Easy to assemble, very clear instructions. Looks good and my son is happy with it which is what matters. Good price too compared to the likes of IKEA. Happy to recommend.

So comfortable
Extremely comfortable chair for working from home. Easy to set up by one person, i left the bolts holding the back slightly looser and this gives the back a bit more flexibility. Very happy with this purchase.

Comfortable office chair
The office chair is a nice colour, blends nicely as it's not too "office-looking". The height is adjustable but the backrest is not. No issues with the amount of seat padding.. its fairly comfortable.

It would depend on the pile of the carpet; a thicker carpet would potentially cause a bit of resistance. Opposed to a flat one, which it would glide across.
