Excellent Rower
We purchased the Concept 2 a couple of weeks ago and it has been an excellent purchase. From all the reviews it was the best out there and it hasn’t disappointed. It was easy to set up and we can also store it away easily. Argos also delivered quickly and the communication was very good, so we knew when we needed to be around.

Not used the rower as much as I'd like too, but to date it does exactly what it's supposed too. Downloaded the app to go with rower so can store stats and virtual row with others. Rower looks great and is well built. All gyms seem to have them, so it must be good. No issues so far. Once it's used more I'm sure it will be a worthwhile buy. Not cheap, but looks a professional package all round.

“ It is 5 years on the frame and 2 years on the parts.
If a customer has an issue, they need to contact us with the serial number located on the machine, alongside a photo or video of the issue. This will go to our technical support team to look into. We dont' come out and service the machines but we can assist customer's remotely. ”

You need about 8 feet x 4 feet to operate it comfortably.
You need about 8x4 foot. The machine splits in half for storage and will stand up in two bits in a 4x3 foot space.

When assembled, it’s 8 ft x 2 ft (244 cm x 61 cm), but you’ll need at least this clearance for use: 9 ft x 4 ft (274 cm x 122 cm).

You need a lot of space for this item as it is quite long. It sits in the corner of my living room. When rowing space is need for arms.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Concept2 RowErg with Standard Legs PM5 Rowing Machine: ''The Concept2 RowErg is available with either standard or tall legs. The standard legs give a 14 inch (36 cm) seat height while the taller legs make the seat 20 inches (51 cm) from the floor. The RowErg with standard legs is the new name for the Model D Indoor Rower. The tall leg option replaces the Model E, which is now discontinued. A higher seat is not required for taller users, and both machines will fit inseams up to 38 inches (96.5 cm). Rowers with an inseam longer than this may require an extra-long monorail.''

"Workouts that are uploaded to the Concept2 Online Logbook can be automatically synced to other fitness Applications like Strava, Training Peaks, Fitbit and Garmin Connect.
In order to connect your Logbook to these sites, go to your profile page in the logbook and click on Edit Profile. Then, select Applications and follow the instructions for the platform you wish to use. From that point on, any workout which is added to the Logbook will then go straight through to Strava or Fitbit. Only workouts with stroke data (such as those done using ErgData) can be uploaded to Training Peaks and Garmin."

Yes! If you download the excellent Concept 2 App called ErgData, and set up a logbook account on the concept 2 web site, you can then link your logbook and Strava accounts. Another method, if you have an iPhone, is to simply link your ErgData app with Apple Health and then link Apple Health to Strava.

Not quite .. you need to screw on the legs and then put together wheel / seat parts ... although these just 'click' together . And so, not difficult and doesn't take a long time .. comes with a chunky screwdriver rather than allen key

Ive connected the one in my gym to my Garmin Fenix 6 - not sure if this is the same for the Venu 2 but might be worth researching-
ANT FE-C for the RowErg
On some newer Garmin watches such as the the Fenix 6, you can add the PM5 as a fitness equipment FE sensor. This allows you to use the Row Indoor activity with complete workout data. The PM5 can connect under Settings within Row Indoor. It will connect with ANT FE-C as a new Sensors Accessories.
