The Britax Romer EVOLVAFIX is designed to protect children from 15 months, right up to the age of 12 years. The seat converts from a harnessed seat to a highback booster seat, with just a few simple steps. Children can benefit from 5-point harness protection up until they reach 105 cm (max. 22 kg). Thanks to the FLIP&GROW function, you can easily change from the integrated 5-point harness to the car's 3-point seat belt as your child moves to the next stage.
Approved to the new i-SIZE regulation.

Great, and well worth purchasing
When I first spotted the Britax Römer Evolvafix Car Seat online I wasn’t sure whether to splash out, but after using it regularly with my own child, I can genuinely say it’s been one of the best baby gear purchases we’ve made. This isn’t just another car seat — it’s the one we’ve kept in the car every day for years because it genuinely works. Straight out of the box, it feels solid and well-built. The materials don’t feel flimsy or cheap — the fabric is robust and comfortable, and the whole seat has a reassuringly substantial feel to it without being excessively heavy. Installing it for the first time was straightforward with the ISOFIX connectors and Top Tether, and I loved the little colour indicators that let me know it was locked in securely — no guesswork. What I really appreciate is how practical this seat is in real life. The Flip&Grow system means I didn’t have to take apart harness straps and attachments as my child got taller, which sounds small but it’s made transitioning to booster mode effortless. My toddler always seems comfy in it, even on longer drives, and the adjustable headrest and recline positions make it feel cosy for kids of different ages. And when inevitable spills happen, the seat cover comes off easily for washing — a godsend. Parents always worry about value, and yes, this isn’t the cheapest seat you’ll find, but considering you can use it from around 15 months up to about 12 years, it feels like a proper investment rather than something you’ll outgrow in a few months. That long lifespan is exactly what drew me to it in the first place, and it really delivers. If I had one minor gripe, it’s that it’s a reasonably chunky seat — in a smaller car you’ll notice it — but that’s a small trade-off for the safety, comfort and longevity you get. On balance, it’s a seat I’d happily recommend to other parents who want one reliable, long-lasting child car seat that just does the job without constant fuss.

Excellent car seat
This car seat is exactly what we needed. It’s easy to install and is lightweight. My son loves this seat as he can see what is going on. Only slight annoyance is the harness pad where buckle is comes off every time you go to fasten or unfasten the buckle.

Perfect upgrade for a toddlers car seat.
My little one has moved up from a rear facing swivel chair. He is too curious to not be facing the front so I wanted to go for a safe forward facing seat. The isofix was easy to install. The head support and 5 point safety harness keeps him nice and tucked in. Will see him until 12 as it converts to a booster seat.

Great car seat - my 3 year old is very happy in it
Excellent car seat! I’ve upgraded my 3 year old into this from an older bulkier car seat. He seems very comfortable in it, it’s nice and upright but still reclines if he needs to lay back a bit. The straps are really easy to loosen and tighten which is a huge bonus as I really struggled with how stiff they were on my old Joie one.

Heavy duty child carrier
This is a very sturdy well made child carrier. Can be used just as a booster seat or full chair. The first thing you notice is how well made and sturdy this seat is. Hardened plastics and well stitched materials. The seat itself is heavy. Fits well on the cars seat and not wobbly even before attaching the seat belts. Has a wide age range so once you have this seat you will not need to buy another. Theres a smart qr code to scan that gives all instructions on how to set up/fit the car seat.overall its a well made sturdy seat that will leave you worry free whilst your child is seated in it.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Britax Evolvafix R129 ISOFIX Car Seat - Space Black: We can confirm that the EVOLVAFIX must be installed with Isofix and Top Tether for younger children using the 5-point harness (up to 105 cm tall).
However, when it is installed as a highback booster (min. 100 cm tall), the EVOLVAFIX can be belted with Isofix or using the 3-point seat belt only and Top Tether is no longer used.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Britax Evolvafix Group 2-3 R129 ISOFIX Car Seat -Space Black.
We can confirm that the EVOLVAFIX must be installed using ISOFIX and Top Tether for younger children using the 5-point harness.
However, it can be installed using the 3-point seat belt only in highback booster mode, which is possible from 100 cm tall.

"I can confirm that the EVOLVAFIX is designed for use with a 5-point harness for children measuring between 76 and 100 cm. Once they reach a height of 100 to 150 cm, the vehicle's seatbelt can be utilized. Both fastening methods are intended exclusively for a forward-facing position."
