Does what it says
Excellent- purchased this for holidays to go in the pool my son is type1 diabetic and so we need his medical phone/Dexcom reader on us at all times to get readings and alerts I was anxious at first but honestly this is amazing holds two phones nicely and waterproof we could enjoy our swim sessions without any worry 10/10

Easy to use, handy for water sports
I bought this for paddleboarding to keep my phone from getting splashed! It didn't get submerged so I cannot testify to that level of protection, but worked well to keep the drizzle and splashes out!

Waterproof phone pouch
Brought this for paddle boarding, tested it before use with tissues inside and held it under water, tissues were perfectly dry when I took them out. Used it for the day paddle boarding fell in a few times phone stayed dry and working

Looks like it will be good
Have used an old phone with no sim card so I can use it underwater when snorkeling. Very difficult to get it in there as the polythene sticks to the phone. Make sure you put the charging hole near to the opening end so you can plug it in easier. Squash the air out so it doesn't float too much. Someone reviewed they couldn't take pics through the screen, use the side button to take pics.

Decathlon waterproof phone case
Purchased this for a swim around St Michael's Mount, Cornwall. It took a few goes to get my pixel 7 with a protective cover into the case (it's become easier with more use), but once in and sealed it worked ok. Touchscreen can be unreliable with wet hands and case but worked faultlessly when dry. The case was attached to my float and not submersed during my swim - I did take a few underwater photos (less than 1m depth) and the inside was dry after my swim.

The Decathlon Waterproof Pouch IPX8 could be used in a swimming pool when correctly sealed. The pouch is waterproof up to 2 m for 30 min: IPX8 standard.
Directions for use:
Regularly check the pouch's waterproofness. A dent or micro-puncture with keys, for example, can damage the seal.
When doing sports, it is best to wear the pouch under a UV top, a t-shirt or a life jacket.
When using it at high speed (Jet skiing, kite surfing, water skiing...) keep the pouch out of the wind and put it under your wetsuit or similar.
Opening and closing, precautions:
Slide the clip.
Unfold the film.
Insert the telephone by pulling apart the sides.
Refold the film.
Replace the clip carefully all the way through (you should hear the "click").
Check the pouch's water resistance regularly using a paper towel.
Telephone functions:
OUT OF WATER.
The phone's touchscreen functions work: you can make calls, take photographs, and read on your screen.
PLEASE NOTE: photo quality is reduced when shooting through the cover.
UNDERWATER.
The water against the screen means the touchscreen will not work.
Taking photos underwater is not possible.
