Customers Say
Waterproof pouch effectively protects phones from water, great for swimming, snorkeling, and paddleboarding. Touchscreen and button use underwater can be difficult. Good quality but some dislike the blue neck cord.

Fits iPhone 15plus Perfectly
I like this Waterproof Pouch and my iPhone 15plus fits in it perfectly. You can press on apps through the transparent plastic. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it has a blue neck cord. Given that the case is black in colour I feel the neck chord should have been black as well

Great buy
Was skeptic about it actually working but I was really happy with the results. Used it whilst scuba diving and snorkelling and it kept my phone completely dry. It didn’t let me press buttons whilst submerged though

Hello Baba,
No, Decathlon explicitly warns against putting keys in this pouch.
While the pouch has an IPX8 waterproof rating and can be submerged up to 2 meters for 30 minutes, the thin thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film is vulnerable to punctures. Decathlon includes the following warning in the product details:
"Do not put sharp objects inside as they could pierce the film... A tear or micro-puncture from keys, for example, can prevent it from being fully waterproof."
Modern electronic car keys are bulky. Even without a sharp metal blade exposed, the hard plastic corners of a key fob or the metal key ring can easily pinch, stretch, or puncture the soft plastic film under water pressure or during activity. A micro-puncture will ruin your electronic key.
As a safe alternative for swimmers, we recommend using a hardshell waterproof key case or a solid metal car key security lock box attached to your car's wheel, towing eye, or coil spring.

Hello Treguard,
Yes, this pouch should protect your phone from water, dust, etc., while allowing you to use the touchscreen inside. It will not block bluetooth signals or any other features. Thank you for using Q&A!
Hello squiresgater,
With an internal capacity of about 100 × 160 mm, this pouch comfortably fits most standard large-format smartphones, up to around 90 mm wide and 160–180 mm tall. Thank you for using Q&A!
Hello Kareeeeen,
This pouch is designed to protect your phone from water. Although the pouch is large, it will be difficult to use for a asthma inhaler. Thank you for using Q&A!
Hello Lau,
The Decathlon Waterproof Pouch IPX8 could be used in a swimming pool when correctly sealed. The pouch is waterproof up to 2 m for 30 min: IPX8 standard.
Directions for use:
Regularly check the pouch's waterproofness. A dent or micro-puncture with keys, for example, can damage the seal.
When doing sports, it is best to wear the pouch under a UV top, a t-shirt or a life jacket.
When using it at high speed (Jet skiing, kite surfing, water skiing...) keep the pouch out of the wind and put it under your wetsuit or similar.
Opening and closing, precautions:
Slide the clip.
Unfold the film.
Insert the telephone by pulling apart the sides.
Refold the film.
Replace the clip carefully all the way through (you should hear the "click").
Check the pouch's water resistance regularly using a paper towel.
Telephone functions:
OUT OF WATER.
The phone's touchscreen functions work: you can make calls, take photographs, and read on your screen.
PLEASE NOTE: photo quality is reduced when shooting through the cover.
UNDERWATER.
The water against the screen means the touchscreen will not work.
Taking photos underwater is not possible.
Thank you for using Q&A
