It's a 30L bag of compost-enriched soil that's been heat-treated to remove weeds. You'll get strong root development and reliable drainage for beds, borders and turf. Great top soil
I bought this for my tortoise for her substrate as I had no other available in my area, I didn’t realise Argos sold top soil so was great to just pop and get instead of having to have a longer journey to a garden store

Soil very heavy
Very helpful Argos guy taped up a small hole in the bag. Soil is very heavy and compacted, not sure if it's supposed to be like that or if it's got wet.

I bought this to use in leveling some areas of a lawn we are extending. I can't speak for its fertility yet, but its texture is very poor and not improved by the surprising amount of dry, half-rotted twigs and roots. Certainly not value for money, or the quality that used to be associated with the Levington name.

Don’t buy it. Glass fragments
Don’t buy it. I rarely leave reviews but this soil is so bad. I had to riddle each shovel full as both bags contained multi coloured glass fragments and perished plastic coated wire / cable. If you planted anything in it without gloves your fingers would be cut to pieces. Looks like it came from a demolition site and definitely not as described.

The supplier has advised the following for the Levington Top Soil - 30L:
“ With all our growing media products we are unable to recommend their use for pet bedding or in their enclosures as they are not designed for this purpose and have not gone through the additional screening processes to be fit for this purpose as it is not pet graded. However, if the customer would like to use this, we recommend you sieve the product before use to remove lumps from the soil. ”

Please see the below link, which states: Levelling lawns/Laying turf: ''To make established lawns level, simply fill in any hollows. We recommend you apply a good quality lawn seed at the same time.
Before laying turf, apply Levington® Top Soil to the area to be turfed. Make sure the lawn is level. Water in well, especially near the joins to avoid the ends drying out.
We recommend when sowing grass seed or laying turf, to use a specially formulated Lawn Dressing.''
