I bought the Revamp ceramic hot brush because I had the impression it might be light weight, it is. Having read the instructions I realised it was unsuitable for me as they say to section and pin up hair, only having the use of one arm I can't do that. Disappointed.

Best £40 I've ever spent!
This tool is a godsend on my fine, medium density wavy-curly (2c-3a) hair and leaves me with a perfect salon-worthy blow dry. This product doesn't and isn't meant to dry your hair. You should only use it on hair that is completely dry (treat it like a straightener). First I dry my hair with my blowdryer, using a denman smoothing brush to get it as straight as possible. Once it's dry, my hair is a big poofy mess, so I section my hair into around 6 sections and use this brush. The trick with this is to not do big sections of hair at a time. I work with pieces that are around 1 (max 2) inches, using the brush from the roots, dragging it down, then rotating the brush round and round on the last few inches of the strand. The brush rotates a full 360, which is great – it's just like having a round blow dry brush and the cable doesn't ever get tangled. The brush also heats up within, I'd say, 60 seconds, and gets hot enough to do the work without damaging my hair like my straightener does. I feel happy using this on my hair every couple days as long as you couple it with a decent heat protectant. You can create fab flicks, and if you get enough practice, curls! Also great for creating volume and restyling curtain bangs. Attached is a photo of my hair after using the brush – the style held for 8 hours at a wedding (bear in mind my hair is dark so you can't see all the flicks in a photo) but yeah, lush product, highly recommend.

This Revamp Ceramic 40mm Hot Brush - Gold Edition has 2 settings: heat + heat with ionic jet.
Slide the power button from the 0 position up once to the 1 position to use the brush with heat (the LED indicator will be red). Slide the button up one more position to use the brush with heat and ionic
jet (the LED indicator will be red and green). The brush will reach full temperature in a
few minutes.
