Thoroughly necessary item for lively toddler.
We had previously bought some reins about 3 years ago for our grandson. His parents told us that when they were using a similar thing the child did not like being constrained, though he didn't seem to mind as much with us grandparents. We used the original reins with our grandaughter as soon as she could walk but unfortunately we lost them in June. I was so annoyed and frustrated with ourselves. Anyway, we never found them so I bought more, which were the same but a darker colour. I have used them both times when I have been looking after her and am again delighted. She likes using them because it means we are going to "do something" and she can participate safely.
