About this product
The Habitat 60 Tam Tam Plastic Stool provides a handy seat with hidden storage underneath, helping you keep things tidy without extra space. Its compact, ergonomic design is comfortable for perching, whether chatting in the garden or needing an extra seat indoors. The striking blue finish adds a pop of colour to any room. Lightweight and easy to move, you can use it wherever needed. The polypropylene frame and legs support up to 100kg, while the stool weighs only 1kg. Suitable for indoors and outdoors, it's a practical addition to your home.
The hidden storage compartment under the seat is ideal for small bits and pieces you want to keep out of sight. When you're not using it, you can take it apart and stack the pieces away, that's really handy if space is tight. The polypropylene material wipes clean with a soft cloth, so spills and marks aren't a problem. Simple assembly required, one person can manage it easily. All fixings are included, and there's a one-year guarantee for peace of mind. The seat height's 45cm, so it works with most standard table heights.

Customers Say
Stylish, versatile 1960s design stools praised for durability, lightweight, and multi-use as seating or side tables. Some concerns about easy scratching and packaging quality.

Good design but badly scratched
It’s a great 1960’s design, but why are these always so badly scratched? Instead of coming in a proper box, it comes in what looks like an old plastic bag which no doubt contributes to the poor state it arrived in. I’d be happy to pay a bit more for this if it meant better care were taken with the packaging.

Nice stool
Nice coloured stool. I was expecting it to be a bit heavier, but for the price I may have been expecting too much.

Great price and a cheerful stool
A nice little stall. I actually wanted it for a side table. It would be OK for that, although perhaps a bit too light to risk putting drinks on it. The storage space is a good idea. Inside that space there were a couple of chipped places, with a slight mark on the outside too. None of that is very visible, and given its price, I didn't bother to return it. But it perhaps needs better packaging in future.

Hello Carol,
Our supplier has confirmed that the Habitat 60 Tam Tam Plastic Stool is in 3 parts, the bottom, the top and the top cover.
Thank you for using Q&A
My blue one didn’t have a cover piece, it’s hollow.
No. The cover is for the top. The top space can be used for storage, albeit not much.
Curved. I wouldn’t advise putting a drink on it. Also the top half of the stool comes away from the bottom half if you lift the stool to move it. If you do need to move it, it’s best to push along the floor and not lift it.
Hello Martin,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat 60 Tam Tam Plastic Stool - Blue: ''The TAM TAM's lid is slightly domed: it's not a tray, so I find it difficult to place a drink on it.''
Thank you for using Q & A.
