Great build, poor build quality
I had a brilliant time building this and I loved the tiny details and very immersive building experience and information in the manual. One day after I had finished building the car, I went to show it to somebody and, as I picked it up, the whole car fell into pieces. The rear wing fell off. The rear axle flipped, the front axle broke, the side pods fell apart. I am very disappointed. The underneath of the car is the most fragile thing I have ever touched.

Stunning Build & Tribute to a Legend — But Wheels
As both a LEGO enthusiast and an F1 fan, the LEGO Icons McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna set exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The build perfectly captures the sleek lines and aerodynamic detail of one of the most iconic Formula 1 cars in history, and the Ayrton Senna minifigure with its display stand is a brilliant tribute. The instructions are clear, and the build process is both engaging and satisfying, with some clever techniques that make the final model really shine on display. The only thing that bugs me is the wheel design — I wish the sizing had been considered a bit more during production and matched more closely to the new LEGO Icons Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell set (10353), which nails the realistic Formula 1 tyre look. Not a big issue, though, as you can easily swap them out for more aesthetically pleasing wheels from third-party sellers or eBay. Overall, this is still a fantastic display piece and a must-have for LEGO and motorsport fans alike — a worthy homage to a racing legend.

Super little car
Bought this for my 11yr old grandson who is a wiz at Lego. Thought would have taken him 2-3 days to build. How wrong was I, he built it in 4hrs. Looks great but tbh a lot of cash for a 4hr activity. But he is delighted and it will take place on a shelf in his bedroom with many other kits.

Design team let it down
Build is ok but the Lego design team let this down with the tyres, you just can’t see passed them. The Lego design team need to bow their head in shame. Get the Nigel Mansell one instead, at least they did their homework on that one.
