About this product
If you want a fridge freezer that handles weekly grocery needs and keeps food fresh with ease, the AEG RCB632E2MX is worth considering. It's a bottom-freezer with about 198l fridge and 73l freezer space (271l total). The TwinTech No Frost system uses separate cooling for fridge and freezer, keeping the freezer frost-free and the fridge humid for fruit and veg. MultiFlow circulates cold air evenly to prevent drying or freezing. This design offers ample space and advanced cooling for fresh and frozen goods.
There's an ExtraChill drawer for cold cuts and cheese, a salad crisper for veg, and 5 adjustable safety glass shelves to rearrange as needed. The fast freeze function is handy when batch-cooking or loading frozen goods, and the electronic temperature control with display makes adjustments easy. It runs at about 34dB, which is quiet, and has an open door alert if left open. Energy rating is E, and dimensions are roughly H186 x W59.5 x D65cm, fitting standard kitchens. The door is reversible too, for added convenience.

AEG Fridge freezer Fit for Purpose
I purchased this fridge freezer as a late present for myself

Looks great, big capacity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the larger (2m tall) version of this when we had our kitchen refitted, and have been really impressed with it. So, when the one in our internal garage needed replacing AEG was the first brand we looked at. I love anything in stainless steel and decided to buy the "smaller" (it's still huge) version. It looks fantastic and has loads of storage. The extra chill drawer and the humidity control drawer are handy for keeping items fresh for as long as possible.

Excellent choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a fridge freezer. After reading all the reviews and friends' recommendations I decided to buy AEG. I was a bit worried about the size but 6000 Twintech® freestanding frost free fridge freezer is spacious. It's deeper than my old fridge freezer and it makes so much difference. Now I have enough space for all my vegetables in the salad crisper drawer and hopefully humidity control will prevent all the water condensation inside the fridge. In my opinion one of the best benefits this appliance has is open door alarm. If someone leaves fridge door opened it will alert you. Twintech® no frost technology means that cool air moves around and keeps food moist, also doesn't let the ice to build up. Freezer has 3 shelves but they're dep enough to store plenty of food. Love the colour. It's stainless steel apparently with antifingerprint. It might not leave fingerprints but every single stain is clearly visible. All I do is clean it. Even with my old white fridge freezer didn't have to do it that often. Overall 5 starts from me. Would recommend it anyone.

Great modern-looking fridge that also delivers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge was a remarkable addition to my kitchen as it seemed to seamlessly blend cutting-edge technology with a spacious design, offering both convenience and efficiency. I really liked the stainless steel finish, more than I thought I would! The storage capacity was very generous and I liked the ratio of 70:30 between fridge and freezer, seeing as I tend to have more fresh produce. I also appreciated the adjustable shelving and deep door pockets - perfect for celebratory Champagne! Same goes for the freezer drawers - they're all deep and transparent, which makes it easy to find things. The LED lights are well integrated that also helps with finding things in the fridge/freezer - assume they will also be energy efficient. Obviously it's difficult to visually tell the outcomes of the 360 degrees cooling technology, however, I did feel that vegetables seemed to last longer, particularly ones that I cut and wrap one side with plastic wrap (cabbage, cucumber). So far, I have also not seen any ice forming from condensation, which was the biggest pet peeve for my previous fridge as I had to regularly clear the ice build up in the freezer section. All in all, this was a good new fridge to replace my old one. It provides the good looks, ample storage space and the technology to improve your life overall.

Very spacious fridge!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely happy with my fridge freezer. The air flow around the fridge keeps everything cool. There are quite big drawers in the freezer enabling larger items to be stored easily. The freezer holds a lot more than I hoped, so that's a bonus. No need to defrost, easy controls and very neat and compact in its place.

Brilliant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with the AEG fridge freezer, as a stand alone unit, the satin finish of the stainless steel means we no longer suffer from the fingerprints and smudges normally associated with a gloss/polished finish to stainless steel and it blends in with its surroundings seamlessly. The no frost feature works perfectly and the extra chill draw in the fridge compartment is a stroke of genius, allowing items to be stored at a colder temperature than the fridge without freezing and is great for chilling drinks (and other items) quickly, and it large enough to be of use with ours permanently housing a dozen cans of pop and having plenty space for freshly prepped items etc. The design of the fridge with the integrated handles is another well thought out convenience, it’s a small touch but it offers a nice clean finish to looks and allows the surfaces to be cleaned with ease and there are no protrusions to clash with the cupboards or walls, it also symmetry means it’s also easy to swap hinge from side to side offering the option of opening to the left or to the right to suit the location of the unit and the peculiarities of any house layout. Everywhere you look, you can see design and thought has been given to the unit from the LED light that gently gets brighter to the LED display panel showing the temperatures at a glance to the alarm that sounds if the doors have been left open too long. The door bins are a great size and are very usable. The unit runs very quietly so is great for areas where it will be in close location to everyday living. Size wise it is perfect for a couple or a small family. I would happily recommend this fridge freezer to anyone looking for one. It’s very well built and at this price point, I don’t think you could buy better.

AEG freestanding
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought I would measure the space it was going into night before delivery. Very foolish as did not fit after a few cutting of worktops got in just. Very impressed by the inside design. It has handles are part of the door opening with left hand, being right handed it says can change door but space not permitted. I like the 2 draws for keeping salads and the like fresh for longer this is the best feature. When you open there is a nice fresh feel to it compartments are laid out nicel. The frost free freezer is a must and very good would highly recommend. Lesson learnt measure up first

Great product very stylish.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On first impressions I was very pleased with the style of the fridge freezer. It has plenty of room and a great split for both the fridge and deep draws for the freezer. I love the doors as they have integrated handles that sit within the doors reducing the possibility of external damage. there are plenty of shelves in the fridge and they are adjustable in location. The door spaces are deep which is great as it maximises the internal space. The smart LED is a nice touch and lets you know what temperature you fridge and freezer are at. The light when the door is open is very good also and makes looking inside the fridge vey easy. It’s a super simple set up and looks well made. Overall a great product.

If your AEG RCB632E2MX fridge freezer keeps freezing up, especially in the fridge compartment, here are some causes and solutions:
Why It’s Freezing
Temperature Set Too Low
If the fridge is set too cold, food near the back wall may freeze. Try adjusting the temperature to a slightly warmer setting (e.g., from 3°C to 5°C).
Shopping Mode / FastCool Active
Features like Coolmatic, Frostmatic, or FastCool can cause temporary overcooling. Make sure these modes are turned off.
Blocked Air Vents or Sensors
Avoid placing food directly against the back wall or over air vents.
Ensure temperature sensors aren’t covered by items.
Fan Issues
If your model has a fan, check that it’s running properly. You should hear it briefly after opening the door. If it’s not working, cooling may be uneven.
Humidity and Moisture
Wet fruit and veg or open liquids can raise humidity, leading to ice buildup.
Dry items before storing and seal liquids.
Door Seal Damage
A faulty seal can cause cold air to escape and trigger overcooling. Inspect the seal for cracks or gaps.
Defrost Cycle Problems
If the defrost system isn’t working properly, ice can build up over time. This may require a technician to inspect the evaporator, defrost heater, or thermostat .
What You Can Do
Defrost the fridge manually: Turn it off, let the ice melt, clean up the water, and restart.
Adjust the temperature: Set it to a slightly warmer level.
Check for obstructions: Ensure vents and sensors are clear.
Inspect the door seal: Replace if damaged.
If the issue persists, it may be time to book a service engineer to check for deeper faults like a malfunctioning defrost circuit or fan motor.
