Perfect as temporary heating
Purchased two of these when gas boiler needed repair. They arrived on time and were just what we needed to keep warm for 7 days without heating and at an excellent price.

Great little heater!
Bought this when our heating broke. Great little heater, may be not brilliant in freezing temperatures but for moderate cold, it’s pretty good and so quiet!

Disappointed
Bought this to replace the previous version when it just stopped working. Decent heat in it but why they have changed the buttons I don’t know. Now the settings have a dial that clicks instead of a switch. So far so good, but can’t see the dial lasting very long.

Recommended short term measure for basic heating
The boiler broke at Christmas. We needed something to keep a medium-sized 4-bed detached house warm for 7 days until the new boiler arrived. So after comparing various alternatives, I bought four of these. Basic controls were all we needed i.e., a thermostat and basic heat settings (750W, 1250W, and 2000W). I set them all at 750W in the hall and on the landing and never needed to increase it! I was worried about the cost of running them, but the low setting together with the thermostat kept costs a lot lower than I expected, and a constant temperature of 18 degrees throughout the house. They are in pristine condition, so I suspect I could easily resell them and get most of my money back, but I've decided to rebox them and pop them up in the loft just in case! Convector radiators are quick to warm a room up, can be expensive to run, especially if you have draughts and poor insulation, and you certainly don't want to drape things over them! The safety features, i.e., overheat protection and tip-over protection, offer great peace of mind. Bottom line, they're great, and I do recommend them as a reliable, temporary solution.

Great little heater!
I bought this a few weeks ago after reading reviews, and I have to say what a fabulous heater it is for it's size. Heats up my small living room no problem, it has a built in thermostat which is brilliant. It's very light and easy to move around. It has an automatic safety cut off feature in case it gets knocked over, it also turns off if you pick it up whilst it is on. I would highly recommend, it's a great little heater👍

Great, compact heater.
Compact, light, easy to move around and efficient, with instant heat, including fairly high temperature. The three hear settings are useful, but I found that the control knobs are stiff and slightly difficult to rotate, due to lack of texture on the edges. Also. beware, as the exterior of the casing gets very hot, and could possibly inflict burns. Otherwise a great product.

Heater
I bought this for my son’s small bedroom and it was a great buy. Heats up quickly. Small but good size for a smaller room.

Good for taking the chill away.
For a small heater it gives out a lot of heat, my lounge warms up quickly and the heat from it even gets into my kitchen. Glad I bought it.

Simple and effective
A simple, effective, low-cost convection heater. Perfect for rooms that need a little more warmth or a quicker warm up than your household system provides. The thermostat is consistent in its’ operation so can be set to a previously used position and will give the same temperature again. The heater appears to be fairly robust and is easy to move around as required.

If the heater is 2kw, then multiply your electric cost of kwh with 2 to get per hour charges. For example if it cost you 25p per kwh. It will cost you 50p to run per hour. Please remember this is continuous usage of heater. If heater reaches its desired temperature, it will stop until the temperature drops.
Hello,
I can advise that running costs for this Bush 2kW Convector Heater are subject to change and will depend on your service providers tariffs, the settings used on the Convector Heater and your usage times. To calculate the running costs you would need to multiply the kWh by the time of usage then multiply again by your electricity rate.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q & A.
