A great shame
Bought it to speed up the de-misting car windscreen process on icy mornings. Hugely dissapointed. Feeble fan, barely any heat. Still, the advert didn't make any claims and it didn't catch fire. So it's not dangerous, nor was there any deceit. Just pointless. Like being all excited for a hot date and then wishing that you hadn't bothered. Staff were friendly, and the store was clean and bright.

Amazing solution for frosted windows
The blowers on my car broke this winter and with no availability at any of my local garages I needed something quick to defrost my windows before and after work. I brought this expecting it to be a 'better than nothing' solution... I was wrong! This works better than my blowers ever did and cleared the frost with ease, I would recommend this to anyone in the same situation. I have since purchased a new car due to the last one being problem after problem, but I have kept the heater as a back up, I hope I never have to use it again but have full confidence in the product if I do.

Heating not good
Heating is very low, not very slow workong not proper use any of things.

So so poor. Should never be advertised as a heater. Couldn’t even manage to unmist my windscreen when placed an inch away. I would get more heat from a match.

I bought this item from Argos January 2024. The instructions included clearly state it must only be switched on for 15 minutes and then turned off to cool

The supplier has advised the following for the Streetwize 12V Auto Heater & Defroster With LED light:
"This product has a thermostat inside, once the heater block reaches 65℃ it will stop heating". They also advise there's no time limit on use.
