This dehumidifier is life saver, after i have bee using it , there is no more damp and mold in the house, it has also drying and air purifying system which is really very good. In addition, it can be controlled from the phone. No disturbing sound at all , its all round very good.

Very happy with my purchase.The amount of water it extracts is unbelievable. Great that it doubles up as a HEPA air purifier, genuinely makes our home feel fresher. I bought this for our community centre a few weeks ago. It’s great and has made a true difference to the damp issue we had in a hall entrance area. As it’s not an area that is heated it’s cold and a new front door had sealed up any natural ventilation so we started to get mould spots appearing on the walls. Since using the dehumidifier this problem has gone , the amount of water collected is amazing so I believe it’s a worth while purchase

Outstanding dehumidifier-powerful,quiet
Outstanding dehumidifier – powerful, quiet and genuinely well designed I bought the Meaco Arete Two 25L from Argos after a lot of research, and honestly it’s one of the best home appliances I’ve owned. The moisture removal is extremely effective – within the first day I could feel the air was noticeably drier and fresher. Condensation on windows reduced dramatically, and drying laundry indoors is now much faster with no damp smell at all. What really impressed me is how quiet it is for such a powerful unit. Even on higher settings it’s unobtrusive, so I’m happy to leave it running during the day without it being annoying. The controls are clear and simple, the build quality feels solid and premium, and the water tank is easy to remove and empty. I also appreciate the thoughtful design: it looks modern (not ugly like many dehumidifiers), it’s easy to move around, and it just works without any fuss. You can tell this is a well-engineered product rather than a cheap, noisy box. It’s not the cheapest option, but it’s absolutely worth the price for the performance, reliability and comfort it brings to the home. I’m genuinely very happy with this purchase and would confidently recommend it to anyone dealing with damp, condensation or indoor laundry.

Superb Dehumidifier! Definitely worth the money!
This is one fantastic dehumidifier packed with a load of excellent user friendly features. It connects to your Wi-Fi so you can control it via the app whether you’re at home or away and you get a notification on your phone when the water tank is full and the dehumidifier has stopped. The infinity dehumidifier mode lowers the fan speed and increases energy efficiency and increases quietness. The unit is very mobile and can be placed in any room. The filtration and extraction is excellent, the water tank fills up very quickly when you’ve got a very dump room for the washing and dries the washing out very quickly. The manual flap at the top can be changed to see the angle of airflow direction of your choice. Water tank bucket feels solid which is very smooth to remove and put back into place. There is also a connector pipe where you can connect the dehumidifier water to a permanent pipe so that the tank never fills up.

The supplier has confirmed. The MeacoDry Arete Two 25L Dehumidifier and Air Purifier does not have a constant use external drain hose. Instead, it includes a hose adapter that allows for continuous drainage using a standard garden hose, providing flexibility without unnecessary plastic waste.

The dehumidifier uses a life-long filter H13 HEPA filter and would only need to be replaced due to wear and tear. The filter must be cleaned a minimum of every two weeks.

The supplier has advised the following for the MeacoDry Arete Two 25L Dehumidifier and Air Purifier:
“ Answer - no.
Please note that compressor dehumidifiers do not have the capability to blow our warm air or cold air. However, as the air circulates, it may feel cool, especially if your space is already a bit cooler. While the air passes through the unit, it actually warms up by about 1°C only.
If the customer is looking for a machine that blows out noticeably warmer air, please redirect them to any of the DD8L models.
Desiccant dehumidifiers naturally emit heat as they operate, producing air that is 10-12 degrees warmer than the current room air. ”

“ The dehumidifier must be placed in a central position on the ground floor or first floor landing. When the dehumidifier is running you will need keep all the internal doors open as much as possible to allow the air to circulate. So there in no need to move it around. ”
