I have had this mixer for some time now. It is very good at what it is built for, mixing. However, the switches are very stiff and I have never been able to eject the blades via the eject button and I have to pull them out by hand. It seemed a trivial thing to send it all back so I have put up with it. Nevertheless, it is very good at mixing, epecially sponge cakes.

Assuming you mean on the base - the part nearest you in use - no, and its a bit maddening thats the design. It needs to ret on the beaters of placed that way.
