Functional, quick and handy
I bought this at the last minute, as my large Magimix had broken and also my old electric hand held whisk. Wanting to make meringues for guests I needed something I could get quickly. I saw this and it seemed ideal. It was perfect for the job and I'm very happy with it.

I bought this just before Christmas when my old trusty whisk gave up the ghost just as I was making meringue for a pavlova. I nipped out to Argos after spotting this mixer online and managed to finish the meringue! It’s perfectly fine, does the job. I found the instructions for releasing the whisk heads a little obscure, but got them out in the end.

Assuming you mean on the base - the part nearest you in use - no, and its a bit maddening thats the design. It needs to ret on the beaters of placed that way.
