Keeps the neighbourhood marauder out.
Perfect for a slightly larger than average cat. Clear window so he can check for enemies before exit. Thought he would be scared of the click but he mastered it in minutes- we registered the tag and demonstrated he could push it open to get to the treats!

Be very careful when purchasing this product
I looked on line and this cat flap was identical to the one I wanted to replace, which was one that works with a home hub and gives notifications on your phone unfortunately on getting it home and having trouble connecting to the hub, I was informed by their customer service that it was the wrong type, and I should have got the pet connect version, ( which is identical to the ordinary microchip one). So make sure you have the right one for your needs before buying. Unfortunately this is one of only 2 companies that make these WiFi flaps, they are very expensive and only have a lifespan of about 5 years, the wind whistles through them, and they can leak.

Large cat
Great size for my large cat, wouldn't have fitted a smaller one. No instructions on how to set up the microchip function. Easily installed to upvc door. Happy with purchase

Perfect for keeping unwanted visitors out
Bought this after unwanted cats continued to come in and steal my cats food and spray around the house. Couple of days of uncertainty from my cat with the ‘clicking’ noise of locks releasing, but he’s comfortable with it now. Wish I’d bought it sooner. Easy to install. Super pleased!!

Happy cats
This pet door has the seal of approval from our two cats! It was easy to install (good instructions provided) and to 'register' the cats through their microchips. The curfew setting is invaluable, so that the little blighters can come in but not go out after a certain (chosen) time in the evening. We bought the slightly larger pet door to accommodate our big neutered toms; I think the standard cat flap would have been a tight squeeze!

Really solid catflap
I've just moved home and as I had one of these in my old house I knew this was the one I wanted Very solid and great that it only opens with my cats chip. There are four cats using this 2 od which are quite large cats so it's brilliant for them. Solid secure and batteries last for ages

Hello Ingi,
I can advise when first setting up SureFlap Microchip Pet Door you will need to follow the below instructions:
Press the learn button ( cat icon ) The locks will open, allowing a pet to pass through in either direction. A further indication that the unit is in learn mode is the flashing of the icons on the LCD screen
The next pet to pass through the flap from either direction will have its microchip number stored in the memory.
Once a pet's microchip number has been successfully learnt, the pet door reverts to normal operation and the LCD screen will stop flashing.
Thank you for using Q & A
Hello Phill,
The supplier has advised the following for the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door:
"The microchip in this model only works for entry, not for exit. This model does not have a selective microchip feature for exiting, meaning any cat—chipped or not—can leave freely."
Thank you for using Q&A.

Hello Marcysia,
SureFlap Microchip Pet Door:
On checking I can see it would be the hole in the middle that you will need to measure. This requires a circular hole 300mm in diameter is required to accommodate the tunnel.
Thank you for using Q&A.
