Great for trips to the vet.
I had to purchase a suitable carrier to take my tortoise for an unexpected trip to the vet. The size and amount of breathing holes was ideal for the job. Large enough to place a towel inside for my tortoise to burrow under. As the description mentions, not large enough for kittens but would be a decent size for hamsters, rats, gerbils etc. And, for a tortoise.

Not suitable for guinea pigs
I read all the questions and answers and Argos said the large cage was suitable for guinea pigs. It definitely isn't so I returned it. I would say its suited to small rodents, hamsters, gerbils etc.

Perfect for rats!
I bought this recently to take my two rat girls to the vet and it’s the perfect size for them, easy to use, ventilated but clear plastic only on the top so they don’t get too overstimulated or freaked out. Love it!

The Rosewood Small Animal Pod Carrier - Large, is not suitable to keep pets in for a length of time. It is suitable to use for transportation of a pet or for while you are cleaning the home of the pet.

This may not be suitable for a ferret as they are larger than degus but this will depend on the ferret size - the pod measures 30cm in depth.

The supplier has confirmed the following on the Rosewood Small Animal Pod Carrier:
“It is hard to say 100%. Depends on the age of the mice. From 6 weeks of age it should be fine. Riskier if they were younger and therefore smaller.”

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know It really depends on how many ducklings are going in each pod and how long they are travelling for, if it was for less than 15 minutes they will be fine, any longer would become unsuitable for the ducklings.

It does state it is for Suitable for small sized guinea pigs, rats and degus so i would suggest it is not suitable for a kitten.

I would advise that this Rosewood Small Animal Pod Carrier - Large is suitable for small sized guinea pigs, rats and degus.
I would however think that the Extra Large Pico Hamster Cage would be more suited - please see link below:-

If the combined measurements of your guinea pigs are less than H22, W23, D30cm they will squeak away happily in this. I would make sure they have some spare room to move around however.
