Customers Say
The ironing board offers good value with sturdy construction and height adjustability, but some users found the cover thin and stability issues were noted. Overall, it meets basic ironing needs.

Love it!
Most people would argue that ironing boards are JUST ironing boards but I disagree. I am relatively tall for a woman (170cm) and I hate ironing mostly because I have extreme neck pains due to how short most ironing boards are, therefore I did extensive research before buying a new one. I should state that I DO NOT iron everyday I mostly do my suits and shirts for work. I loved this board, it is tall, very sturdy and has a large surface that you can iron with ease. The iron compartment can stand the weight of a large iron without fear of falling down. I would definitely recommend this product as it is cheaper from most ironing boards you can find online (amazon, TESCO, Dunelm etc.) with these dimensions and has great quality. I bought and placed an additional ironing board cover because I think that the original cover is not as fluffy as I wanted it to be (which is a drawback for me), but other than that, it is perfect for the price. This ironing board may convince me to start ironing everything again😂

Good for the price
Good ironing board for the price. The Iron holder does not fit my iron very well which is a pity, but otherwise it works well.

Very light and easy to use
I’m happy with the ironing board it’s a little unstable (wobbly) but it’s the only one I could afford at this time.

VERY large ironing board.
Bought this board in the last month and needed one that was high enough for my very tall son. This certainly is! He is 6ft 6 and doesnt need to stoop over it at all, so its perfect for him. Not so good for me as its a bit too high but that's not a problem as it was bought primarily for him. We will look for a padded cover soon though, as the cover it came with is quite thin. The iron holder is great once he has finished and the iron needs to cool. The board is sturdy enough.

Not what I expected
This really wasn't what I expected. I purchased a similar one 8 years ago, but that was of much better quality (I was sad to see it go). The size of this is almost exact as that one, but the mechanism to stand it up is very low quality, and you can't sit and iron, the last setting is too high. Funny that this one and size was the only one in my price range, in the mid 20s.

Hi EmmaVM,
It sounds like the Habitat Large 124 x 38cm Ironing Board might be a bit tricky to set up. Here are some steps that might help:
Ensure that you are fully engaging the lever. Sometimes, it needs to be pushed or pulled all the way to release the legs.
While holding the lever, gently pull the legs apart. They might be a bit stiff if the board is new or hasn’t been used in a while.
Make sure there are no obstructions or packaging materials still attached to the legs or the mechanism.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A
